        “THE hell?” The default reaction would be to freeze in horror, or disbelief. And         while he didn’t move, his voice did not have only shock, but also frustration         mingled into the tone of his voice. The look on his face was cold,  “And here I         thought I had seen the last of you.” After all, didn’t Clear leave them unable         to function again? Or did some of Toue’s other experiments remain untouched,         leaving them to be able to activate on their own at some point? Regardless,         while appearing calm, he knew he is at a disadvantage here.
