OOOOOHHHH MY GOOOOODDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!
I find it fascinating how the personalities of the MC and the LI in the book can sometimes resonate with you so much that you actually, in some way, become the MC and feel the love for the LI like some people feel for Channing and Alpha MC. But for some people, like myself, I could never fall for someone like Channing. That causes a reader dissonance from the MC in a romance book centered around the soul bond with MC and Channing. Then coming across this scene where MC doesn't have romantic feelings for Ryan because she soulbonded to Channing but the reader can feel differently...idk I don't feel like I'm coherent enough for this post but it's interesting how some books are written in a way that I just absolutely fall in love with the LI and other books I prefer the side characters.
