Hey, took the poll, but if you want additional feedback re: the FiKi/Aidean event, I just wanted to let you know that I probably would NOT participate if anyone acts as a judge, esp. in a eurovision style voting system. The reason is, I think that puts people with fewer fandom friends, who have been less active for whatever reason, at a HUGE disadvantage, and I probably wouldn't want to waste effort writing something if ppl are most likely just going to vote for their friends. Just my take!
thanks for the feedback! this is why we decided to create a poll to see what the majority of people will be interested in. There are currently 24 responses and I will keep the poll up until we get some more but at the moment the people who have voted are pretty evenly split on what they want. No matter what winning system is picked the prizes will be limited. We didn’t want to run an “everyone wins” event but more so a style of competition and it seems that a lot of people are interested in that. As one of the moderators we do want to keep it as fair as possible and that is why we have given the power to the fandom to decide on how they would like to see prizes won for a contest. we appreciate the time you took in taking the poll and in sending this message.
