The materials to make this bed include rosewood, ebony, mother of pearl and glass. The bed symbolizes dusk, dawn and life. Dusk is a butterfly at the headboard with a landscape of night. Dawn is a butterfly at the foot of the bed, illustrating the renewal of the day. The crystal part of Dawn is said to represent life as a “cosmogenic egg”.

Dusk Dawn

Moments in between that come to be cherished are different for us all

Looking to the sun's set and rise I look forward to the quiet of this time of day

Chance finally come to hear only my voice within my own being, my name no longer a gift to other's once again reclaimed for only me

I can close my eyes and know that I only have to open them upon my own requests

I can for a time close myself off and be only in my mind experiencing my day or rather waking evening dreams long before sleep comes to carry me away

The wee moments as the sun wakes up is were I can lay in my bed and watch the window shades change from faint to bright golden hues and not spend time on the go yet

Between Dusk and Dawn there is only me myself and I, cherish time when you can care for yourself we all deserve such a thing

the sun filters through white veils as golden beams drip down barren walls onto messy blankets. is this what it feels like, to sit in uncertainty with peace I cannot explain? there is darkness in the dying tree branches as they cover the glowing flame that turns snow to glitter. I can't make out its features. I can't define where light begins and I can't point to where darkness ends, but the picture still paints itself on the other side of frosted glass. there is warmth in the bitter cold; just as there is life in the mangled vine. time moves forward, and the world does not wait. the gold fades from the sky as the picture goes dark. I will wait for you through the night, for the sky is darkest just before the dawn.

cotton clouds set ablaze in the fury of the morning. how can this be, this obscene dichotomy? fiery streamers coat the grass as the pavement stays cold as ice. I have yet to find the meaning in the sky's bright colors. where are you in the rich hues? I will find you yet; no, you will be the one to find me again, and I will wait until then.
