Her persona is warm and accessible, and her voice follows suitâit combines the sultry languor of Norah Jones with Sarah MacLachlanâs angelic reassurance, a touch of Paula Coleâs lonesome high end coupled with Alison Kraussâ well-water clarity."
- Offbeat Magazine

Matt Babineaux/ Dusky Waters - 9pm - Drawing influence from modern acts like Ryan Adams, John Mayer, and the Avett brothers (without ever losing sight of the Cajun-folk artists and Texas songwriters he grew up with), Matt writes vulnerable songs mostly about unsuccessful romances, the promise of an open road, and the struggle to find oneself in an uncertain, dog-eat-dog world. But if you listen closely, there is an unmistakable wit in his lyrics that hints at his underlying hopeful nature.
Dusky Waters : "one-woman, folk-grass band. many instruments, multiple streams of sound."
Get free and come hang! It's gonna be a good time.
