#InFringe2017’s special friendsINFRINGE FEST NEW ORLEANS·SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2017Although not hosting “official” Infringe Fest New Orleans shows, several venues dear to us have productions running during #InFringeFest weekend totally deserving of your attention. All are recommended! First and foremost: Bar Redux, 801 Poland Avenue. Everything that happens at #BarRedux is true to the InFringe spirit, so much so that it is a sponsor of the Fest. There are five shows at Redux between November 15th and 19th you should check out. Our pricing doesn’t apply, but owners Janya and Russ Mercado are extending discounts to holders of an InFringe Fest pass or, perhaps, of just a program. For more about any of these shows, [email protected] or 504-593-7083. They explore ideas we should know more about but don't, with experts who do, and comedians who also probably don't. Trying to make sense of serious things like local politics, world history, and scientific theories, but without having to pay tuition. The audience might get to ask a question or two. Benjamin and Luke’s special guest is Zachary W. Mohr, award-winning children's author and erotic poet. The audience is encouraged to wear pajamas for his special "bedtime" storytelling. [Mohr is the author of the series "Desdemona's Dreams", a fairytale about a little girl who can manifest her dreams in the real world. Also a published erotic poet, "Finding God in The Wet Spot", Mohr is a member of erotic poetry troupe, Esoterotica: Original Erotic Readings by Local Writers, monthly at The AllWays Lounge & Cabaret. https://desdemonasdreams.com] Thursday, November 16th THE SH*T SHOW 9:00pm door/9:30 show: $5 (one buck off with Fest pass) Picolla Tushy Presents The Bluestockings bring you SHIT SHOW!
