About 90% of people on #Idjwi have intestinal worms. Nearly every kid I met had a distended belly, likely filled with breeding parasites. These little buddies were teetering over as they walked and played by the shore. The American South once had a worm epidemic, too -- but there are cures, and through widespread treatment, we rid the people of most any soil-transmitted worms.
