Okay, so Loki during infinity war magically survives. He's fighting with the team, and so is his wife (who's an Avenger). He protested against them being there in the first place, but she's there and she's fighting. Then comes the snap. Loki and she are back to back, and suddenly he starts to see some dust floating. He turns and sees her disintegrating.
