Pops would often dress in Ankara to come to the office. Why not their sons. The print itself didn't originate from the African continent, but was rather produced in Holland, for Indonesian markets, without gaining much success. But in the 60's, West Africans, particularly Ghanaians and Ivorians started owning the print with designs and motifs to tell stories true to their cultural heritage and daily lifestyles.
