Why is Duwa lowkey bad as hell

...Continued from morning dive of 31st October (Monday):

We are still at the Blacksmith Workshop with Duwa, and he says he should be able to prepare for work now, except... he doesn't have fresh Divine Tree Fruit to smelt the minerals. As he is still not well enough to go to the Divine Tree and gather its fruit alone, he asks Dave for help and company.

Dave travels to the Divine Tree with Duwa to pick the glowy orb fruits and put it into the basket Duwa is carrying on his back. This leads to a mini-game where within a time-limit, Dave has to pick 5 fruits from the branches and drop it into the basket.

We did it with 3 seconds to spare!

Back at the Workshop, Duwa says he will open up shop once he fully recovers and to give him some time. We receive 100 Bei for helping him out.

At the Game Parlour, we go seahorse racing with our shiny, new Spiny Seahorse. We enter it into the Individual C Rank 100cm Combined Race, where there are obstacles on the course - things like spiky pufferfish floating above, which you must slide under, or thorn hedges on the ground, which you must swim over.

Needless to say, we win the race, coming in first place with a timing of 29.35secs.

Second time's the charm, as we enter the Team C Rank 400cm Normal Race, with a brand new team slate - a Spiny Seahorse starting, 2 Spotted Seahorses in 2nd and 3rd spots, and a Crowned Seahorse to finish the race!

We win the race, coming in first place at 84.73secs.

A new mission from Kazhin, the Seed Shop owner, pops up. He needs us to help him borrow Volume 2 of a book he had been reading, from Niamo at the King Long Shrine. The title is really long.

At the Shrine, Niamo asks Dave if he knows the title of the book Kazhin wants to borrow this time. Dave can't remember because it's too long and strange. To which, Niamo agrees that Kazhin always reads strange books.

Based on Kazhin's reading history, Niamo gives Dave 3 options to choose -

A book with the Divine Tree and its fruit on the cover

A book with beautiful, sensuous-looking sea woman on the cover

A book with zombie-like sea people and King Long fighting on the cover

Given that Kazhin mentioned something about King Long fighting Mutant Sea People, we pick Number 3.
