Chapter One: END
If Akihiko had to describe the day’s events in a single word, it would be “soul-crushing.”
You know what a good way of getting everyone’s attention in the dining hall at breakfast is? Blowing a loud whistle, of course! They’re damn lucky she didn’t get out the bullhorn, but she wasn’t feeling it today.
“So, now that I got yer attention, I’d like t’make an announcement.” Peacock with an announcement doesn’t seem to be a good thing, and she can tell some people are already ignoring her for their breakfast, so she cuts right to the chase. “I went through the murderer’s room, and he had a murder notebook!”
Peacock holds it high in the air, a bit smug knowing she has their undivided attention now. “He wrote about all of you! That’s right, each and every one of youse, even me! He was tryin’ to think about how to off most of us, too! Kinda fucked up, ain’t it?”
By now, more people have gathered, curious about what the hell this girl is talking about. She plops herself down on the table she was standing on, opening it to the very beginning. Oh, it’s easy to tell that some of her peers are wondering why she was in Goro’s room to begin with, but she isn’t here to answer those questions.
“Hey, y’wanna know what he said about ya?” She’s turning to the person standing closest to her, immediately turning to their page in the notebook. “It might be good stuff!”
Hide and Seek
Justin had faith in his students, and nothing would shake that: however, the fact that the bear had threatened harm to come to all the students - no, everyone on the island - could not be ignored. The bear had claimed to have sunk the ship that brought them here: so it wasn’t too much of a stretch to assume he had weapons. Justin could only think of one thing that would be destructive enough to affect an entire island.
The fact that there was a ticking noise that only seemed to grow louder only gave evidence to this thought. The course of action was clear: if the ticking was what he thought it was, they needed to find it and fast before it detonated.
A rare frown formed on his face, and he used his ID card: not to pun, this time.

If there is anyone who has the time: please meet me outside the front of the hotel. I wish to talk of something important, and lead a search to the ticking noise we can all hear at this point.
He trusted his students, so the course of action was to find the ‘horrible, bad thing’...hopefully before it could do any harm.
“Oh? Such a weary expression; keeping it up for much longer will cause it to freeze that way, you know.”
The atmosphere had become dreadful, as if suddenly everyone had lost whatever shred of joy and hope they’d had. What they’d heard would certainly top lists of ‘things you don’t want to hear during your vacation,’ but honestly, if everyone were to just collectively let themselves fall victim to such feelings, they’d have absolutely no chance of making sense of their situation.
“We’ve certainly been placed within an undesirable role, but to see the light leaving everyone’s faces so quickly feels as though you’ve all given in. To stop right away would only result in horrible things, would it not? Thus, I’ve decided to keep spreading love and wonder to everyone, and will continue to do so until my soul burns out... ☆”
its ah. been atleast a day or so since that incident happened and he hasn’t seen nor head anything from anyone.

When Daiki and the rest of the group learned of their “vacation”’s true purpose, the overly nervous student wanted nothing to do with it. He spent the entirety of the prior week hiding away in his room, with all of his trips outside of it being out of necessity and without being seen. The only reminders of his existence were the daily fits of screaming that, like clockwork, came with the sunrise.
Of course, the only thing that dragged him out and kept him out is Monokuma’s announcement and the fact that he had to go to the lobby to hear it, along with the possible consequences that came with him refusing to show up. Joining up with the rest of the group at last, he had no choice but to listen to what the bear had to say.
The announcement left him feeling sick to his stomach. Of course something like this would happen to them. He was with them, after all. This was just a result of his bad luck... He felt that there was only one solution to his woes, and he found himself making a trip to the convenience store in order to make that solution a reality
--
About an hour later, Daiki is back in the lobby of the hotel with various supplies in hand: scissors, a stack of paper, a calligraphy set, thread, a needle, and piles of various fabrics that only could have come from other scavenged objects. Next to him is a growing stack of good luck charms made with the aforementioned materials. It’s obvious that he’s focused only on his work before him, so he doesn’t expect it when he’s approached and called out to.
It’s a given for him to overreact, his entire body stiffening as he looks up with a startled yelp. However, it seems that he’s used to this, apparent in how he grips the scissors in his hand rather than dropping them in surprise at the risk of hurting himself. Though, he quickly calms down, taking a deep breath before speaking.
“Is... Is there something you need?”
She looked over the photos she had taken earlier today, smiling as she scrolled through some. The redhead thought it would be nice to put them in a separate album to organize them.
Wait did she just accidentally click send on mass text!?

Perhaps it was...a mistake to do this half awake at 3am.
“Stupid bear... making things more annoying than they already were. Stupid vacation too... ugh, I wish I was back home.” Tohru was tapping away at his old flip phone, trying to get it to work. It wouldn’t- but he wasn’t going to get rid of the thing. The sleeping rule was maybe the most irritating part of this whole deal- but returning to his hotel room wasn’t much of a problem for him, considering that was most of what he did anyways.
Really though, what sort of idiotic joke was this? Did that bear think they were stuck in a video game, or something? It had been a year or two since he’d played Morality’s Final Gift, but it felt like that bear was taking hints from Zero Junior or something.
