Bin! I'm the one who found the 1-13 of criminal minds last year at the bootsale. I saw your post with the 1-15 box set. The discs and covers up to season 9 are my covers exactly! Inside art too! (I checked them up against mine!) Now you know what they look like! I totally wish i had the whloe set in the sleeves but unfortunately i do not. I hope i can find seasons 14 and 15 this year. 🤞🏼

Robin! I'm finally up to date on Criminal minds evolution! It was okay. Not as good as the original though. I have been enjoying watching random episodes (using a episode generator) of Criminal minds. I love having seasons 1-13 on dvd. Best Spur of the moment purchase! (Bootsale bargain person!)

Might make you laugh although i questioned my sanity, I wrote spur as spar to begin with. 😂😂 Spar of the moment?

i feel similarly abt cme its like solidly ok. im only hard on it bc the og run (until a certain point) is quite magical to me so to go from that to Just Ok feels very. i dont know disappointing.

random dvd ep watches r so fun it just feels extra magical on dvd!!! idk i should watch one tonight to bring my mood back up bc tbh anon ive not been having a great one BUT!! u have brightened my day a bit YAY spar of the moment made me giggle <33 i hope YOU are having a great day also <3

Now watching one from season 13 and the menu is so disappointing! Just a still image of them. Wow, makes me appreciate the earlier seasons even more. The dvd menus really was something. (From what I've seen so far)- boxset anon.

right!! i think from what i rmr s1 and s2 were my favorites like the packaging was gorg we had unit covers for each case and the menus are so thoughtful but by the time i got to like. s10 it was not only uglier the interface was also sooo much harder to use.

this is what s10 looks like for me and the way the special features/deleted scenes r set up its sooo irritating especially compared to earlier seasons

compared to season 1 where there are WORDS that TELL ME THINGS (aside from the two easter egs highlighted in the special features part) so i know what exactly im watching. and i think its pretty and understands the aesthetic of the show. i mean its literally styled like the opening credits.

then ill take from each side of the halfway point since i CANT FIND MY S5 DVDSSS

ive got the easter egg highlighted in bonus features but u can see we've lost the episode titles (BOO) but but but i think this is my favorite way of doing the deleted scenes its the most in detail, i know what episode this is from and i know from whereabouts in the episode its supposed to be. i like it a LOT. we still have the video main menu (similar to s1) and it just think its so much nicer than the still images. i feel like season 10s dvd menu i could put together in windows dvd maker.

by s6 we've lost the video title. BOO. still no episode titles in the episode selection and the main menu and bonus features cards are the same images rearranged with the addition of jj in the bonus features. i still prefer the way they did the deleted scenes in season 4 but i prefer this to s1 and prefer it by. OCEANS to season 10 where u really just genuinely don't know whats going on. i also think this is where the design starts gettng bad and weird but. that wouldn't be the first time season 6 has been the start of something getting bad.

Not started my rewatch yet but watching random episodes using a generator. It's season 5 and the menu is pretty rad. It's black and red and there's like a strip where scenes play from the series with various still cut outs of them from the series too. I still can't believe I can watch Criminal Minds whenever I want. - anon who got her boxset from boot sale.

FELLOW RANDOMISED EPISODE WATCHER YAYAYAYAY. but on a real note anon im gonna cry i was saving this ask so i could load my s5 dvds and ask if the menus looked the same but i cant find the dvds and now im soooo freaking sad bc i cant FINDD ITTTT.

*Sigh.* It's not that I don't like them, but they don't feel the same as the original. Maybe it's the focus on just one case for the whole season. I'll eventually get to watching S17 & S18 😮‍💨 Yesss!! That is the one!! And it opens up one side then the other is inside which then opens to reveal the disks in pouches. (That's the word I'm trying to find. Sorry my brain is having major brain farts.) And a few others both sides open at once. Instead of overlapping. And there is like either screenshots of them or the from the show. Is it really rare to find?? Haha i thought the same when i saw season 4. It's so much bigger then the others.

Also, I'm jealous that you have a holographic version of season 1! That's so cool!

omg i found it on australian ebay!! its so freaking pretttyyyy u won.. and yeah the huge change in format is... im not its biggest fan but i think its easier for me to watch bc its not the same show so it doesnt matter that hotch is gone. that being said they're still rinsing the saaaame storyline/unsub and seem to be doing the same for s19 too... ben affleck smoking image...
