horror of dracula 1958 // girlfriend by avril lavigne
Don’t buy this DVD-r!
It is titled Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet the Creature from the Black Lagoon. There is no such movie. On February 21, 1954 during NBC’s Colgate Comedy Hour, a glorified commercial, there was a short segment featuring Abbott and Costello. The Creature can be seen during this for less than 30 seconds during which there is some severe VHS distortion.

Malaysian Shin Godzilla DVD, which I bought from eBay long enough ago that I had forgotten it was even coming. Absolutely as legit a release as it appears to be at face value. The back cover, featuring Godzilla ‘14 key art and the Funimation Films synopsis, is a nice touch, as are the copyright warnings. The disc art appears to originate from mykaiju.com. The disc itself is a burned copy (shock! surprise!). The transfer is a weirdly squished / cropped dupe of the same watermarked and significantly cut (1 hour 40 minutes, down from 2 hours) subtitled copy that can be found online. Terrible way to see the film, though I can’t say I was expecting a whole lot to begin with.
