blaring red confronts your vision and loud voices jolt you out of your drowsy reverie. confusion is quick to drown out the screaming; unaware of what is happening, you are ushered out into the courtyard; granite and dust tossed in the air as sleepy trudges are made by annoyed faculty and students, you, being one among the dozens that are pushed into lines and rollcalls. bright lights surround you, dancing across your surroundings as voices are quick to be tossed and drawn left and right; everyone has a question but no one has the answers. there is one thing that settles in everyone’s faces: the same look of confusion and annoyance -- sleep-deprived faces are abundant and the mountainous voices that rage on in each direction are deafening beneath the loud horns.
through the intercom, you hear headmistress lee -- her voice a stern clarity over the masses,
“ THIS IS NOT A DRILL, PLEASE PROCEED TO THE COURTYARD
FOR FURTHER BRIEFING. ”
static feed crackles as her voice fades and the alarm diminishes into a frenzied hush; of wide eyes and dazed glances. hums of silence are pressed to curious lips and earnest questions are left empty-handed. groups are gathered and faculty is drawn to each crowd, a set of words exchanged and fingers are pointed before people begin leaving the courtyard; a singular expression fails to deviate among them.

FEATURED EVENT : DVK : NIGHT TERROR !!
ALRIGHT, HELLO DVK FANATICS !!! the time has come to have our first event be thrown at you, and let us tell you, this one is going to be a hefty one; with much-needed community-character-on-character interaction. as of now, the premise is vague and non-specific because unbeknownst to your characters, this event is a rank evaluation in disguise !! for your characters, they will be led to believe that deviance optimum has been breached by an unknown assailant; they don’t know whether the attacker is an actual person or a virus that has hacked its way into the school.
they will be told by faculty that security teams have ventured off into undisclosed locations of the academy and have yet to report back; in order to get to the bottom of the situation, the faculty have decided to divide the students into groups and issue them different parts of the school to investigate. supplies such as a telecom radio and flashlights will be provided, other than that -- the faculty have advised the students that, if needed, to use their powers for protection under the guise that they have no idea who and what they’re dealing with on the academy’s grounds.
the faculty themselves will separate and try to lock the academy down; assuring the students that no one will be able to physically enter or leave the premises until the dire situation has been cleared.

+. duration: the event, in-character, lasts all night from midnight to dawn, 6am. out-of-character wise the event will be done over a one-week period. with prompts being issued every three days, for a total of 3 for this event. the event will be announced over on april 6th. all prompt threads must be published before the event is over in order to receive all the possible points; you may continue the threads from the event after the end-date.
