"That dish looks great! What is it? I might have to order it for myself."

“Huh?” Mooney glanced up from her plate, taking a moment to process that she was being spoken to. “Oh!” Her eyes slid back to her plate and she frowned, momentarily forgetting what it was she had ordered. If she were being honest, she’d just pointed to the first thing she’d seen on the menu. As starved as she was, everything seemed delicious.
“It’s the uh--” she strained her memory, staring at the boy who had approached her while she did so. “The...eggplant parmesan?” Another quick bite and she nodded, confident in her answer. “Yes, that’s what it is. And it is quite delicious.” Mooney scooped another bite onto her fork, offering it to the other. “Would you like to try before you buy?”

aya was waiting outside of the restaurant she was dining with one of her korean friends. she didn’t want to teleport to her apartment in seoul because she was in an area with a lot of people and quite a few CCTV’s. “not even one taxi.” she growled while looking at the direction from which the cars were coming.
suddenly the wind became stronger than before and colder. lickily the cold never bothered her much but to her surprise someone was offering a jumper to her. she turned her attention to the direction of the possible owner of the jumper. the fairy smiled sweetly to him. “thank you but, it’s not mine.” her japanese accent was obvious.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
“Not at all,” Jae Wook replied casually as he sat back on the floor of his studio, the unfinished shelf almost taunting him from a few feet away. Screwdrivers and nails of all shapes and sizes were scattered across the tile, some hidden between the soft black rug. If there was one thing that he couldn’t do, it was put things together. Even something so simple as a bookshelf. “I think I might just throw this thing out.”

“..Why the heck is this house so spacey?” he uttered to himself, Xero guided himself, touring the well-furnished area. Whether he was just taken in, or he abruptly intruded whilst intoxicated from last night’s clubbing, he wasn’t sure. To at least show gratitude, he neatly printed in a few words on the neon-coloured paper, its medium a dark marker. Moments after he slapped the note, he sauntered around the place before taking off; quite bijou, if he was asked,
“who the heck drinks good soju these days? i don’t know how i got here, but i thank god that my organs are still intact. by the way, i snatched a few snacks before i left. teaches you not to let strangers in.

Looking up from his iced coffee, his straw stuck between his teeth as his lips fall away from their delicate suction shape to a slackened look, the man stared at the young girl curiously. Letting go of the green plastic, he quirks an eyebrow before he leans back slightly, tilting his head to the side. Straining, he tried to listen for a noise, any indication to what the girl could have been talking about. There was a distant rumbling, one that probably indicated a train or something. It wasn’t anything unusual in a large city like this.
Stepping forward slightly, he gave her a kind smile, thin fingers chilled by the icy drink he had held. “It’s probably nothing…” He pauses, eyes flashing with a shiver of mischief before he leaned forward, whispering over her ear in a soft voice, lilting in a long forgotten accent of ancient Hangul. “Except maybe perhaps… the titans have come upon us at last and they are steadily approaching. Can you feel the noise in your veins? Echoing your pulse with its steep staccato?” He pulled back, earnest eyes staring into hers as he kept the same kind smile trailing over his lips.
She had definitely heard something. She trusted her instincts and was sure there was a noise outside. She bit her lip in worry, perhaps catching a coffee at the middle of the damned night was not the best ideas. She looked over at the loud city with a sigh. Perhaps she should take more lessons on how to defend herself. Her lips found their way back to her straw, taking a slow sip.
“Ha, ha,” she replied sarcastically, looking over at him. “You think you’re funny don’t you, big guy?” she smiled at his words, and though she didn’t want to admit it- it was funny. She let out a gentle laugh at his teasing, looking over outside. “What if it was a titan? Would you make a run for it and leave your coffee by itself?” she asked, curiosity glinting in her eye. “I swear to god, I heard a noise and if we get murdered tonight I will not be very happy.”
