The Tales of Rash the Coward Part 6
After slaying the dragon and humoring Delphine's delusions. Rash listenend to Delphine's plans on gathering more information on the dragons by going to a Thalmor party. Rash didn't pay much attention other than "get information" and "party" Rash was more concerned about eating mass amounts of food and alcohol.
So he stripped down after meeting Delphine's contact: Malborn. (I'm glad I went to Solitude earlier when going to Ustengrav).
And so after setting up, selling some stuff and leveling up to Level 18 Rash infiltrated the Thalmor Embassy.
After getting an innocent woman thrown into the dungeon (cause I thought that would cause a distraction, whoops), meeting a filthy elf and killing an innocent chef Rash then began the "stealth mission in which he killed every single person and stole everything not bolted down to the ground, including both prisoners. (Which almosts softlocked me, and the other prisoner was the lady from earlier, she fell through the floor).
An interesting thing is that due to me killing one of the prisoners the two Thalmor guards hadn't spawned instantly, but since I got the book on Esbern, I read it and the two guards spawned. But I did run out of food, but luckily using stealth archer tactics and poison I killed one of the guards and ran out of the embassy.
After gathering up my gear I walked out onto the village of Riverwood when suddenly a random Blood Dragon spawned.
I couldn't do much and the three guards did most of the work. Although one of them died.

After selling, crafting, brewing and selling again I was level 19. Delphine also told me to look for Esbern in Riften according to the reports on him. And as soon as I entered I couldn't kill the thugs and there was also a ghost lady????
(I also chugged a lot potions after lighting a random thug and myself on fire).
Anyways I had to pay off some dude who told me to go deeper into the Ratway past the Thieves guild and into the dungeons. I had to run past two Thalmor guards and two Thalmor wizards (which was really bad cause I couldn't land a hit as I would take constant damage, but that's a story for later) but I finally found Esbern.
After taking out two prisoners for some reason. Rash had to escort the senile Esbern out (his AI was really bad), but then the Thalmor caught up and summoned a Storm Atronach and Esbern's thicc fire lad-(Flame Atronach) couldn't do much.
We ran back to where the Thieves guild was and they did nothing and ran 30 feet away.
I was running low on food and potions and had to drink 60 bottles of wine and ale just to get out. The Ratway was also suffering from Bethesda dungeon design (See the Fallout 4 M.I.T. for examples) to which I got stuck in a room that I couldn't leave four time, Esbern would fall far behind.
One of the Thalmor guards did die after I died twice (so far I only died six times) Esbern's thicc fire lady got stuck in the wall and died twice (her AI was also stupid).
Then I found the lever and across from me was two of the homeless people I ran past.
To my left and down below was a Thalmor wizard and Storm Atronach.
Esbern ran forward and with him and the thugs blocking the way I had to go back, but couldn't as a Thalmor soldier and wizard caught up. I was surrounded.
That was until I jumped down and ran past everyone and made it out, barely.
And thus this ends this chapter of the Tales of Rash the Coward...
