Zaya Wade threw a ball for her 18th birthday party and it’s so heartwarming to see this young Black trans girl be raised with so much love & support by her first community: her family. Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade set such a great example for Black parents of queer and trans kids to emulate in just loving their kids as they are and showing up for them and defending them from those who wish to see us erased.
