Okay so, here’s my not so little Bio and backstory and character reference sheet for my Gemsona Hauyne! I will explain everything thats happening in the pictures here under this dash saving readmore~
(1) Hauynes are produced and made to be scouts.They go to the different planets that Homeworld has set its sights on and they scout and record the various terrain and inhabitants of the planet before reporting back. Their information is quite crucial to Homeworld’s success at conquering worlds. Using your surroundings to your advantage and whatnot. Very quick and compact with a mind able to process at an amazing rate, Hauynes are PERFECT scouts. The downside being that their bodies can’t take a whole lot of damage before dissipating their form, which is alright because Hauynes are NEVER alone. At least two hauynes are seen at any given time, you never see one alone and their squads typically consist of four. That being said, they all know one thing, if you are unimportant to the success of the mission, you get left behind.
(2) When OUR Hauyne first came to Earth, everything was going like usual but they failed to realize how...ferocious Earths creatures are. Hauyne was attacked and separated from her squad for quite some time. It’s honestly a miracle that she didn’t poof back to her gem due to the stress and injuries shes sustained, it might have been her sheer desire to get back to her squad. After all, Hauynes are NEVER alone...its an odd experience to be suddenly thrust into that.
(3) After what seemed like a millennia, Hauyne finally makes it back to her ships landing site...only to see it take off without her. She was deemed unnecessary to the mission and left behind.
(4) The combination of stress, fatigue, injuries, and finally the pain of being abandoned, Hayune finally retreated into her gem...
(5-7)...Only to be found by a troop of Monkeys. Hauyne, starving for companionship and having a curiosity over her new home (homeworld in no longer ‘home, she will NOT serve someone who ABANDONED her..), decides to stay with the troop and learn all she can. They teach her about the rainforest they call home and teach her how to move, she’s become much better at avoiding attacks from predators now due to her unpredictable fighting style, quick movements, and uncanny knowledge of Earths terrain. Her small peace was disturbed when Homeworld Gems decide to start a new kindergarten in the Amazon, where Hauyne’s new family resides.
(8) Hauyne, desperate to save her new family, decides to journey to appeal to the infamous Rose Quartz. untrusting of everyone since those closest to her betrayed her, Hauyne appeals with a trade. Help her clear out the rainforest from homeworld gems, and she’ll join Rose’s rebellion and offer up information that she knew about potential kindergarten sites that Homeworld had their eyes on.
(9-10) Rose agrees to the terms. However, the amount of Gems she can spare is sparse and is only able to send two along with Hauyne. Selenite and Lilac, two gems who have worked together for a while now and are efficient in their espionage and sabotaging skill. Hauyne however, is untrusting towards them and at first is flippant and cold towards working with them. After their journey and mission to save Hauyne’s new family and never breaking Hauyne’s tentative trust, they formed a wonderful team where Hauyne could be happy.
-Hauyne’s weapon is a Staff. Her gem is on her lower back
-Hauyne will only eat one thing and that’s Mangos
-Hauyne is based off of Sun Wukong from Journey to the West
-Hauyne around Selenite and Lilac is very happy and comfortable. Typically riding on Selenite in some fashion or being held by Lilac. When shes around anyone else, she’s a bit cold to them. Hauyne has some trust issues.
-Hayune is fluent in hundreds of Alien languages she’s picked up from scouting, she knows quite a few of Earth’s languages as well
-Hauyne hates being on the ground, it gives her memories of helplessness at the feet of that jungle cat. She’s almost always above ground whether it be in the trees, on selenite or lilac, or just sitting on her staff.
-Hauyne’s current location in the modern timeline is corrupted in the Amazon rainforest. Locals talk of an odd blue ‘spider monkey’ in the forest with an extremely long tail that it uses to ‘scout’ its surroundings, it’s almost as if it’s searching for something...or someone
and thats the backstory I have for Hauyne, Ive been wanting to flesh her out fully for a while now! :P
