So I have my own set of skeletons things that I have planned to write for more later, but because I'm usually preoccupied with something I will write all of my boys here and then add more details later.
I'm calling this series, the "The Tales After" as the concept for these stories take place after the underground.
All of these AU versions of the skeletons are under the context that they all have made it to the surface or out of their precarious situation in some shape or form. Either adjusting to their new world or have become pretty familiar to them to some degree.
All of their Frisks/Charas/ and main character are adults in the time you encounter the skeletons because of several years getting human society to adjust for monsters and of course that took time. My rough timeline for most of these AUs goes like this.
▪︎ Monsters are introduced to human society. Monster and Human society fight for at least neutrality within the first few months before finally given some laws to sit in the governors office for review or passed. Within that time monsters are somewhat segregated from humans as they try to figure out living, economics and other things so monsters can integrate better.
▪︎ Monsters gold -> Human money is better integrated and so any previous finances from underground are converted and so some of them get to live cushier lives or a decent enough middle class life. That means the skeletons and any monster are technically doing well financially, however most monsters still work to contribute to society and have more human connections.
KEY NOTES:
● These stories take place after the pacifist route meaning there is no genocide or neutral timeline for these stories.
● No genocide or Neutral timeline ideas will apply for this storyline as it stuns the main character progress storyline for these characters.
● The main concept for these stories are so they're malleable for anyone and myself to use in any situation.

● Originally, these characters where based off the canon elements of their original AUs. So traits from canon have been applied to the characters to some degree and it will come across their progression.
● Explanation: Character progression to me is the character growth timeline I envision them having with or without an individual making impact of them. This is just so if I do make a chapter series based of these stories I have an outline of what I want them to grow as in the end, but for now you see them as how they are currently.
That's all of the main concept information out of the way. Now, here is the list of AUs I have currently in mind for this concept/project.

Following the events after monsters reached the surface. Humans and Monsters were able to integrate much easier and faster than most of the AUs. Allowing a lot of monsters building homes and businesses within the same year the were re-surfaced. The king, upon reaching the surface, used his last bit of power to make a large part of the land a garden memorial for the children that have perished including his own children. After that, he established a peace treaty swiftly with the ambassador and humans leaving the king to be distanced from human society.
Sans (Comic) and Papyrus (Romeo) are now well adjusted after some time, however their sense of purpose is in a limbo state. Sans (Comic) has found himself mindlessly wandering around town unable to find something to spark him. Papyrus (Romeo) with a new car, new job and a new life he has a lot of time enjoying himself, however since he no longer has a role in the guard he struggling finding a new aspiration in his life, however he's determined to continue moving forward and push himself to greatest lengths he can.

Following the events of canon Underfell, monsters were awkwardly integrated into human society. Because humans were aware of the violence the monsters had committed underground, many refused to rent apartments or homes to them despite the promise of money. In response, a new program was created to build housing for monsters on the surface. Unfortunately, only a limited number of homes were constructed, and most were allocated to nobles and those of high status, who held influential power on the surface. This meant that Papyrus (Carmine) and Sans (Scarlet) were among the few monsters able to live on the surface and have a home of their own.
Since moving to the surface, Papyrus (Carmine) and Sans (Scarlet) have remained caught in their own little worlds, isolating themselves from most people outside their circles. Papyrus, determined to continue excelling in everything he’s tasked with even as a retired captain, throws himself into his duties. He isn’t actively searching for a deeper connection, but a part of him still longs for it and hopes that one day he’ll find it.
Sans (Scarlet), meanwhile, remains stuck in the past as he struggles to unlearn the aggression and sharp edge that defined him for so long. He has slowly found calmer, more comforting tasks to occupy his time on the surface, but ultimately, he dreams of a simple, peaceful routine where he can finally feel at ease without the weight of his old habits.

Following the events similar to any other AU as monsters reached the surface. The former queen, using the last bit of power in their new world, wanted to establish resources for the new monster children and human children for the era to come. As well, making sure that all monsters had a chance of living near humans without fear. For the laws for children it was giving funds for monster and human children of the lower economy a better chance of education and establishing their goals later in their adult life. For monsters, giving any monster of any economy a chance of owning their first homes on Mt. Ebott, however the process of it went by a bit slow due to the transition of funds and laws with their ambassador.
Eventually, Sans (Cadet) and Papyrus (Aeros) settled on a home between the forest and entrance of the main city. Cadet is moving forward fast and without stopping his passion for bringing joy and becoming greater hasn’t stopped. Though, his past and fears haunt him as he struggles to push through certain hurdles worried he can’t commit or pull through. Aeros has his own past haunting him as well, being subjected to snide remarks of his brother in the past and finding a resolve to protect and be in his brother's shadow. He now wishes to find his own identity wandering through the days hope he comes across some clues of guidance.

Following events similar to canon Horrortale, the monsters were eventually released from the Underground. Humans struggled to accept them at first due to their horrific appearances and unsettling nature. However, after a year and a half, monsters were slowly integrated into human society though often from a distance. Physical health, nutrition camps, therapy, and other health services were constructed as monsters and humans were getting used to each other. A small group of humans, who offered to assist monsters into their integration were the first to help them through these recovery services they built to provide for them, along with the help of their current ambassador.
Many had to go through nutrition camps and therapy before they could fully adjust, including Sans (Grim) and Papyrus (Des). The brothers eventually settled in a home closer to humans (At Papyrus request), giving them more opportunities for interaction. Even so, Sans (Grim) demeanor tended to unsettle most people, while Papyrus (Des) struggled to adopt “normal” human habits, leading him to continue his therapy sessions.

Under similar events as the Underswap and Underfell, humans were cautious of monsters as they surfaced. Violence was not uncommon for monsters, but it wasn’t for humans either, because of the already dangerous area and discrimination near Mt. Ebott when monsters were introduced chaos and crimes ensued. The queen using her power and working with the ambassador gives monsters an opportunity to work in the crime force to help maintain peace in Mt. Ebott. Although controversial, the human mayor agreed on having the first project of monsters and humans working together for peace.
This is how Sans (Slate) and Papyrus (Scotch) formerly working under the queen were transferred over to the new crime fighting work force under the forensics branch.

A lot of monsters were perceived as lecherous sinners upon human society discovering their deeds in the underground. Despite their precarious situation a lot of monsters were sought after for lust or used by certain groups as an 'example'. Despite that, monsters settled in pretty well with humans, a lot of them being entrepreneurs and built shops and businesses around the area. Muffet (Enclair) being one them setting up a decently sized bakery with the help of her spiderlings and friends. It grew quite popular from her beautifully crafted, fresh and fast making of treats for events, parties and the general public. As well, from her secret ‘special’ service for her best of clients that is only known to the few VIP members. Which is what brought the brothers interested in her, one for her services and another for employment.
Sans (Macaron) sexual habits never died after being on the surface a sort of hypersexuality that brings him somewhat grief and pleasure; he desperately wants to find self-love of his own that can match with his needs without being perceived or mocked by humans. While he seeks comfort by flaunting himself with Muffet (Enclair) Papyrus (Cake) is finding his own place in the new world, since his desire for a deeper intimate relationship wasn’t reciprocated much in the underground. Even though he does get approached by some humans and monsters sexually, he doesn’t mind it and finds some pride from it since he started working at Muffet (Enclair) bakery.
From there, the brothers live in a home near the city of MT. Ebbot, neighbors with their boss Muffet (Enclair) finding their own love.
