DARYL & DWIGHT: THIS SCENE THOU: I was not a big fan of Dwights because of what he did, but this scene made me realize I was wrong. Dwight did what he did for one reason, and that was his love for Sherry, he thought it was better than dying,...but like sherry told Daryl when Negan had him held prisoner, "There are worse things than death." For Dwight to still have Denise's keychain with her brothers name on it, that let me know just how sincere he truly meant what he was saying. people are mad that Daryl sent him away, but I think it was for several reasons. one cause Daryl is not the only one who wanted Dwight dead, & because he betrayed both sides, he has enemies on both sides, so he's not safe even if Daryl did let him go. two Daryl wants him to go out and make things right, he wants him to find sherry & make things right with her, for her. Daryl maybe afraid. or not sure how to love on an intiment level, but that doesn't mean he is stone cold hearted. watching just one scene with Daryl & Carol together and you know right away how much Daryl loves Carol. so I respect, & admire Daryls decision to let Dwight live, and give him the excuse to go find sherry. ❤ #normanreedus/ #darlydixon @austinamelio/ #dwighttwd #twdseason8 #twd #thewalkingdead @bigbaldhead 🎥credit: @tans1975 I read in an interview, that this was Austin's favorite scene between Dwight & Daryl, I can totally see why.
