Random, The Walking dead thoughts on Episode 23, season 11: Family

I hate the king but his arc as a guy with a good spirit made a hell of a lot more sense then Saint stalker Connie. Maybe because he was a pretty good actor and I probably would have liked the king if he didn't get in the way of my Caryl

The second Judith said her brother died saving someone it set up a red flag for me, but for some reason Daryl and Carol didn't realize this idiot child got it in her head that dying to save someone else, and being a martyr was a good way to die. Yes, helping people is good, and if you put your own life in danger to save someone else, that is understandable but the fact she threw herself in front of a gun shot was just stupid, and someone should have let this child know that the adult Maggie (I think it was Maggie) was capable of saving herself. A kid didn't need to do it for her not to mention that it looked like it wasn't even needed. It was like she wanted to die a martyr and that's the only reason she did it so she could be like her brother. And don't get me started on Carl and the stupidity of his character. One minute he's a little ass, and an episode later he's all about the future, and letting Negan live. I will never get behind Carl being a future leader. Maybe a leader for the future kids, but the show trying to make him the future Rick? Nope. And I know that he was the leader in the graphic novel. And maybe an adult Carl, I could see, but not this bratty teenager. Talk to me in ten years.

I learned his first name was Michael this episode. :) I loved Mercer. I think he would have made a better governor than the King who was just too goody goody to make the hard choices.

Cassidy McClincy was the best actress on this show and I'll die on that hill.

The look on Daryl's face when Carol separated herself from the group to go look for a way in. His voice lowered. That man did not want her to go. #awwww

And the way he looked back and checked to see if carol was on her way back. #awwww My babies were a couple and you haters can suck it:)

I stand by this comment too. The kid being shot was on the kid, not the Governor. She threw herself in front of a bullet and Maggie didn't need her damn saving. This was all on the kid and the idiots that let her keep in her head that dying for the martyr was a just cause. Maybe as an adult, but not as a 12 year old kid.

The doll Daryl is carrying makes me laugh every time. That was obviously not Judith.lol The fake hair, the way the legs sway. Too funny

I had to steal this screencap from this blog because I missed i so this was a good place to end. You know the rest is turning into a #Caryl #carolanddaryl blog if I have anything else to say and I did this for episode 24 a month or so ago and it turned into to a Carol and Daryl blog. But when Daryl was Daryl and not this idiot, Darren from the spinoff I melted. He knew who to call and it wasn't the stalker. This blog is where I got Connie being the stalker from.lol And it fits perfectly. And then I learned others on a message board also called her stalker. I don't know how anyone does a whole blog of episodes like this because I do not have the patience to do all that. I barely got through this.

Andy and Danai forever have my heart and I’m entirely grateful for what they have done with this story and show. This was an absolute perfect ending to the story of rick and michonne grimes. I am still not okay and recovering from the finale but I definitely will be. Because we as a fandom have won because of the moat amazing actors that care and love these characters and stories just as much as we do. It’s been so long but I am so happy and content and emotional right now 😭 Rick grimes started this journey 14 years ago looking for his family and now he’s back. This is the most beautiful ending to their story. I absolutely adore these characters. THANK YOU ❤️🥺
