Doctor Who is back!!

HOORAY Doctor Who returned last night!! I was beyond excited for it. although thanks to work I ended up missing it and watching it at 11:15pm totally exhausted, after a dash to the takeaway!

Anyway, it was a good episode, although that scene at the beginning needed to get going a bit faster. I was making that circular gesture with my hand like ‘come on let’s get going!’

I don’t think anyone knows what Missy is right now. Is she some anti-hero? I was a bit confused, but I guess we will see where she goes!

But when the Doctor came out with his tank and guitar I was like OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING! And when they hugged I was like awwww! It kind of irritated me that I knew Clara is leaving at the end of this series, as her emotional scenes with the Doctor seemed to cut deeper, although they didn’t share THAT much screentime, and I knew her ‘extermination’ was probably something they would write away at the beginning of the next episode.

And then when it was revealed they were on Skaro I saw it coming a mile away. Annoyingly I had Davros’ return spoiled because I went on Digital Spy (stupid mistake I know). And he actually doesn’t look that real; he looked more realistic and not just prosthetics in the 2008 episodes he was in.  Same with that giant snake thing. It looked very fake.

Right so, it was good, and I will certainly be watching next week. We will see where this one goes....

PS Scorpion and Castle are back this week! BEYOND excited for those shows, so I shall try and post about them on Tuesday!
