Hey guys,

so... a terrible thing happened to me. How you could read in the comic, I recently lost my blog @dyamirityofthelord. It was a mixture of bad luck, my stupidity and let’s be honest, tumblr’s stupidity. 

After logging me off and forcing me to change my password, I realised I lost access to the mailbox I used to log into tumblr. I contacted tumblr support and they basically told me to go to hell. Even though I had my old password, the activation mail and a lot of evidence that I’m the owner of the blog, they just kept resending me that “Aaw, we’re sorry, get a new blog” message.

I lost the blog I’ve had since 2012. I lost all my content: art, text posts, everything. 

For an artist, losing more than 4k followers is a disaster. I spent  4 years building some kind of a platform and with my blog, I lost my fans, my potential clients, and my friends.

I have no other way how to contact my followers. Of course, I will send message to my friends and mutuals, but there’s always a chance that I miss someone. 

PLEASE, PLEASE, REBLOG THIS, there’s a chance that some of my old followers will see it. I just want them to know that I’m okay and still active.

Hey, I really love your art. What program and tablet do you use?

I should add this to the FAQ, thanks for the reminder! I use a Wacom Companion 2 and Adobe Photoshop for digital stuff. That said, you can do what I do on a desktop setup or on something like a Surface or iPad Pro, easy peasy.

Traditional is a whole other rodeo involving Speedball, brushes, Sharpies, crayons, solvents, kuretake pens, dirt from a hanged man’s grave, and other common art supplies.

best friend: jefferson (he was an awful dudebro but i guess i’ll have to live with that... i’d always crash at his bigass house and he’d cook macaroni for me)

brother: hamilton (reasons: a) he was a terrible husband, i love that guy but i’d never marry him, b) he had no family, they all died or left, i think he could use a cool awesome sister like me)

Finally someone who isn't okay with tracing stock photos without crediting. Thank you! I have read so many "But tracing is like using a reference and stock photos are for free." opinions lately.

DUDE SERIOUSLY!! I get anon messages and PMs from people asking for explanations and honestly, how is this even up for discussion? Tracing is wrong. It has always been wrong. Isn’t this a universal fact??

The worst part is that people are well-informed enough to realize that it’s wrong to trace, but they still intentionally turn a blind eye and choose to support it. Pretty disgusting, if you ask me.
