dc seriously needs to hire better writers, ones who actually care about the characters or know how to tell a story that isn’t half-assed or absolutely boring and not interesting to read. they need to hire lgbt and people of colour to write and illustrate too since there is a lot of talented writers and artists of colour in the comics industry as a whole. please... just hire better writers for everything, because then their comics would actually be readable and not something i’d either hate immensely or sleep through.

n52... isn’t that great, as a majority. there are good and lovely stories and characters that came from n52 i wouldn’t lie about that but... majorly? it’s boring. sorry.

as much as i love the trinity... they really don’t need this many comics about them. there’s too many comics about ww, supes, and batman to count on one hand alone and i for one am tired of seeing them but not even ONE (1) cameo of my favourite turned-c-list character that has a lot of potential to be something but is, unfortunately, in comic limbo. or dead. ( the potential is there !!! why are you ignoring that !!! youve more than capable writers to make this and that happen with this character but instead we’re gonna have offensive stories about trauma and asylums. )

there sure is a lot of bad writing in disappointing cowards comics but... to be frank some characters really don’t deserve that -- this is where it gets complicated so hear me out: some characters, most specifically lgbt and characters of colour, suffer years of bad, offensive, and downright racist portrayal of them, that’s not consistent portrayal that’s bad writing in it’s literal definition. ( and someone saying that a character of colour is canonically [x] is... really not good because like i said, it’s bad and racist portrayal of said character and should not, under any circumstances whatsoever, be considered canon. )

on that note: characters will always come back from bad writing, yes, but i’d rather see a very specific brown character dead and buried and forgotten and put in comic limbo than be in another comic that is just going to demean and demonize and dehumanize her for the sake of a piss-poor story.

dc shouldn’t buy the rights of characters and other comic companies / branches, or make up new characters they’re never going to use after this or that story or comic is finished. please, youve too many characters in comic limbo or on the shelf... use them instead of making up new ones or buying an entire comic branch.

dc? forgetting their own lgbt heroes that have existed and been in comics ever since the fucking 90s? more likely than you’d think !!! and i hate that !!!! there’s a lot of stories you can tell with these characters and you can afford to make a writer do it, why aren’t you doing that?
