1) Jude moved away a few years ago to become a professor, he still visits during family events though

2) hiveswap didn't happen, trolls exist on Earth bcuz of shenanigans which included a very petty Condy and a bit of certain cherubic-based technology, Xefros is roomies with Jo (and unfortunately totally situationshipped)

3) Grandpa had visited Joey and Jude for the first time in years just to basically confirm he'll be gone forever (to raise Jade) however after suddenly going AWOL in skaianet (due to canon accidentally brushing up with this timeline aka the Tavros accident murder) a search party goes out to look for the CEO of a fortune 500 company bcuz... Duh. Only to find a widdle girl, Jade. Joey, who's 18, basically goes 😐✋ "I'll adopt her, she's my sister."

4) They are not in Hauntswitch! Joey deemed the cults about unsafe because she's a rational human. She moved further into New York so she can get parenting help from Roxanne, they live in an apartment
