Bcs the English dub sucks and straight up ruins dialogues and moments, I always watch both the English dub and Korean OG dub, and when I hear a difference in tone between two versions of the same dialogue I will open Google to translate the Korean myself bcs ik the English dub ruined it.
It's gotten to the point where every time a character acts in the English version, I file the action into “[OG Korean name] behavior” and “[English name] behavior” bcs sometimes they just have different personalities and for all the [English name] behaviors I go to translate the Korean OG version for those scenes.
For example:
S2-e22 of HoD, Dylan scolds Han at the end. That is an older brother thing. That's definitely Semo behavior.
S2-e3 of HoD, Dylan challenges Zero by saying something like “Scared to lose?” while the kids were all inviting Zero to play. I immediately filed this into Dylan behavior and went to the Korean episode bcs ik Semo did not say ts.
