 I just got a headcannon to beat all headcanons about Mama McCall.

And in this season we get the introduction to Malia. So what if Mama McCall cheated on Papa McCall with Peter Hale?? I mean it kind of makes sense. Malia is sixteen right now, which would make her roughly 2 years younger than Scott... And when Stiles said that he heard everything when he was a child, could that have been referring to Malia's car accident??

Because what if Mama McCall gave the girl up for adoption, then when the crash happened, she went to Papa Stilinski. And what if Papa McCall was told that the child he thought was his, died as a stillborn until Mama McCall told him the truth???? And that could also be why, out of all the unsolved cases, Papa Stilinski was so focused on this one. 

I mean, I can see it as one way that they could fit Malia's character into the plot. To just randomly throw in a character as a plot device without any tie to a major character (and I honestly don't see Peter as a major character) is just really lazy writing.
