• Newt feel first...like almost immediately after thammy came up in the box

• It took Thammy until they were in the old mall in the scorch where Newt almost got hurt when she realised how much she actually liked her

• In the maze Newt would follow Thammy everywhere and anywhere. Thats why Newt trusted her so much.

• After the scorch in the right arm but just before minho(i haven't genderbent him yet) they confessed...but didnt tell anyone due to fear

• Shows affection in passing moments that would be hard to notice. E.g. figures brushing, pinkies holding onto eachother

• Newt would still call thammy mate but it was more softer to them, it ment more.

• almost kissed just before minho was taken...

Angst (sorry):

• when Newt got infected thammy noticed immediately. Way too fast. But doesnt say shit.

• when Newt gets angry at thammy (that one scene) thammy follows him outside then Newt finally reveals to her that she is infected.

• thammy would barely look away from Newt. Looking at her like she was already gone...

• they never said i love you once before Newt passes...because they both think they were gonna have time.

• when Newt started fighting thammy and begging her to shot her...thammy couldn't stop the tears...

• once Newt was stabbed thammy couldn't even hold her face one last time...why? Brenda was there...she couldn't let anyone know she liked Newt...

• but in this one was given to her before going into wckd...

• thammy didnt wanna read it, ever.

• but she did read it in the safe haven, finally.

• most of it was the same note we all love and sobbed at but one line stood out:

• thammy would trace the heart over and over again...

• keeps the note constantly on her and would have panics if she couldn't find it

•wrote a note back, ending it in "I love you too" but she didn't know what to do with it....so it sits in her bag

A few months back I binge-watched all the tmr deleted scenes because why not, and literally 90% of them and Thomas and Newt being soul mates. I'm starting to think that they were watching it back and thinking, "Oh man this is way too homosexual we're gonna have to make some cuts." and they did, except they didn't do a good enough job because those two WON A FUCKING CHEMISTRY AWARD AND THEIR OPPONENTS WERE MOSTLY LOVE INTERESTS. I cannot do this right now.

Also, apparently the name thing was a regular fumble during filming. Wes Ball would call for "Thomas" and both of them would answer to it, so he had to specify, "No, I meant Dylan-Thomas, not Thomas-Thomas," which is fucking hysterical to me.
