Just liked this Pin: The Ontario College of Art and Design has a new identity designed by Bruce Mau design. The new scheme is based on the iconic windows of Will Alsop's 'sharp centre for design'. http://ift.tt/2nkVyiB

The logo is based on a visual system, an algorithm that produces 40 thousand variations of the MIT Media Lab Logo, by moving 3 spotlight inside a invisible canvas and offering 12 possible color combinations for the light rays. A custom web interface was developed to allow each person at the Media Lab to choose and claim their own individual logo for his/her business card. Also was developed an animation software which allows creation of custom animations for any video content the lab produces. designer: E Roon Kang studio: The Green Eyl
Dynamic identities
I’m current researching dynamic identities, also call fluid identities, moving brands, etc. They are logo systems that use multiple iterations of a mark (or series of marks): these might take the form of a logo which constantly changes its apparency, or a singular mark that is combined with different elements. These logos are in constant movement, mutating to adapt to new, unexpected contexts. However, those changes happen within certain constrains that are regulated by the brand guidelines. The constant of those parameters allow the recognition of the brand in whichever for it might takes.
