Three things that made today terrible: Someone at work being really slow to catch on and cooperate The *worst* stomachache I’ve had in a while [from nerves, see below] Was supposed to hear about a job today, and I stayed up later than I wanted to, and still nothing yet Three things that made today amazing: Uncontrollable giggling thanks to Dynamic Banter (The Boy Gentleman episode) Great second interview for a real-life job [despite my nerves, even] Chilling out real nice this evening to let the stomachache pass Lesson of the day: “The first rule of fight club is, when someone above you says something, you back them up.  If you undercut me in front of them, then I’m not going to be able to help you later.” - Set Designer [It was someone else’s actions that prompted him to say this, but it was amazing to witness.]

Three things that made today terrible:

I spilled the same bowl of water (dog’s) all over the kitchen twice.

I did almost nothing in the way of job applications today.

I spent most of today feeling really anxious about the temporary job I’m starting on Monday.

Three things that made today amazing:

I listened to the most recent episode of the Dynamic Banter podcast on my walk this morning.

I successfully made a burrito recipe that will keep me in delicious lunches for two weeks.

The boy I’ve been talking to inadvertently texted me something that made me laugh until I cried and couldn’t move.

Lesson of the day: Read more Anne Lamott forever.
