Terrible, predictable ol' me.

Of course I am drawing Gargoyles again. Very rough and ready kinda sketches, removed a lot of the construction lines but that was also quite helpful, felt almost like sculpting these headshots by erasing, redrawing, erasing, etc.

You're not here for my babble, you're here for Gargoyles. I went for the main cast this time (except Bronx, ran out of time before getting ready for sleep). Aiming for vaguely on-model, though there will always be a bit of me that creeps in.

Still slightly possessed by Gargoyles brain rot, so doodled some more this morning. This time its Thailog. (How do you know its Thailog and not Goliath? Well...because I say so :P And also because Goliath would never smile maniacally.)

Watching the series when younger - Thailog is a bad guy, he's not nice, he's nothing like noble Goliath.

Watching the series when older - you're right, Thailog is nothing like Goliath...😳

Yeeaaahhhh, been struggling through some health stuff recently, plus too much pressure to find work and such, etc. Its a really fraught time to be trying to enter the film/tv/animation industry but gotta keep going <3

Anywho, drawing random Gargoyles stuff is truly guilt-free and joyful. This is just a random gargoyle child, being a lil gangly creechur <3

Last one for now (got a lovely piece in progress though) - this one IS relevant to Gargoyles: Dark Ages. Teenager Goliath with kid Lex :D

I'll post my next ones all separately and these are definitely fanart this time. I loved drawing this one but I think it maybe goes too far back in recognised canon timelines for anyone to be interested, lol.

So with the Gargoyles: Dark Ages spin-off being published by Dynamite soonly, that features Goliath and his peers as teenagers with the Trio as like 10-yr-olds.

THIS PIC is Goliath and peers as 10-yr-olds, because I thought it would be funny. I always picture young Goliath to be scruffy, scrappy, and scrawny. He's fighting with Othello (Coldstone), with Desdemona (Coldfire) and Iago (Coldsteel) in the background.

Sorry I've been a bit quiet on here. It was the Summer of Sickness for me and it has taken a time to recover and get my brain back on track.

If you've come across my humble-tumble because of Gargoyles, well I have great news for you - I have Gargoyles doodles aplenty to post, plus lots of toher ambitious machinations in the background >:)

In the spirit of Gargoyle-ness, I present a sort of Gargoyle-sona? Maybe? Or simply an original Gargoyle character. Since I'm from the UK, I took my cue from the London clan, which are (as far as I'm aware) based on a lot of heraldry animals. Sheep appear on a lot of crests (ikr?), so this here is a Gargoyle based on a swaledale sheep. If not allowed to be covered in actual wool, then she gets a big damn woolly jumper. Still un-named but I like the idea of drawing her some more :3
