Diopamsia (Dio for short) is the right hand man to Hede, who eventually overthrows and betrays her. He got his scar about 2K years into living after an accident involving an explosive and one of the divisions. Dio was shortly killed and overthrown by the resistance leader, Dynastee, after his rule resulted in innocent civilian deaths
Hede (codename Manora) was the longest running ruler of her city (before Dio overthrew her). While one of the bad guys, she was very kind and sweet, putting on this act of being overtly nice to lull her people into a sense of security and vulnerability. It was also to make people turn against the revolution, something that had been long running for a while. After she's overthrown, things turn for the worst and the resistance is up and running all over again, this time with more support
Dynastee is the current revolutionary leader. Her father was the previous, and his mother was the first. Dynastee went a long while not even knowing her father was leader of the resistance, and was thrown into it when she was 1K years old after her father was executed for treason. She works as a blacksmith, and got her scar from a minor incident when she was little. After overthrowing Dio, she was decided as the new leader, but quickly changed things into a democracy with an election and everything. Even though she encouraged others to join, she was sworn in and has been leader ever since
