The Week That Was...
This week at TVC has seen the Dyno-Rod Golden Van continue its journey around the UK to mark 50 years of Dyno helping the nation’s homes with all their plumbing and drainage needs. This week, the van popped up in locations such as Leicester and Cardiff, before concluding it’s nationwide tour back at the British Gas headquarters in Staines, Berkshire. People up and down the country have had the chance to take a photo of the golden van for the chance to win a series of £250 cash prizes.
Meanwhile, Jenna, Oli, Lauri & Rachel took on a tour of their own, helping Moonpig celebrate five years of delivering flowers to UK homes by delivering personalised cards and bouquets to national radio stations and a few select celebrities which kicked up a twitter storm of thanks.
Fresh from last week’s Paddy Power shoot with Farnborough FC, Lee landed another plum job for any modern man, travelling to Cologne to shoot the X Box One Showcase at Gamescom, where games including Call of Duty: Ghosts, Dead Rising 3 and FIFA 14 were showcased on Microsoft’s new console.
Across the Pond, TVC USA helped spread the news that B-Boy Gravity was crowned the North American BC One Champion at Saturday night’s final in Houston Texas. Gravity, who fittingly originates from the home of the B-Boy movement Brooklyn, New York City, now takes the 2nd of 6 qualifying sports to take part in the BC One World Final in Seoul, South Korea later this year.
The footage of his winning battle with B-Boy Ben was particularly spectacular and perhaps did too good a job of inspiring some staff members to try out their own “breaking” abilities after a couple of drinks at last night’s TVC Summer Party. The theme was Murder Mystery, who killed Lord Burlington?! After a few drinks and some detective work, the teams whittled it down and made some interesting verdicts, with no-one being victorious. Guess we won’t quit our day jobs to become the next Sherlock Holmes then. Take a look at the snaps….
