I have to be developing dyslexia if that’s something you can develop, because I keep seeing a word, do a double take; and see it was a different word. Like, what in world? I’m good at reading, or least I was..

I saw a sign that said “Low Cost!” But I read it as “Cow Lost!”
Can you develope dyslexia? Because I misread words and sentences on a daily basis.
is it bad that i always read popped as pooped please tell me im not the only one to do this
whenever I read martial arts (which is more than you would think) I read marital arts. and goddamn I would pay to watch that. married people going at it, kicking and punching each other. that sounds excellent and awfully therapeutic.
Why is it the large majority of people I meet/ talk to think Im dyslexic?!
I have just been told to get a dyslexia test done by my psycologist as it may explain why (in his words) " Im a bit slow at understanding things, talking to large groups of people who i dont know, the way I re write things in different colours so i cover all the points" This was my response: 1) I know im not exactly the brightest of people, sorry to dissapoint you 2) Ive worked as a resort rep & transfer rep talking to people I have never once talked to before so not much of a problem there 3) No, I struggle with numbers past 10 4) I like to write things I would comprehend and the colours keep me entertained so I dont lose concentration 5) I get distracted because I like shiny stuff I havent seen before Wow, even my college tutors and uni lecturers said the same but my mam is refusing to let me get one done. What do I do?
