Dysrhythmia are a metal band that sound exactly like their name. All of their songs feel like math problems. Really epic trigonometry. They're American, formed in 1998, and released this album, Psychic Maps, in 2009. Sometimes I wonder if bands like Gentle Giant would have sounded like this if they'd been born later.
