"I'll bring you flowers, when you're dead and gone.
Asleep in the pines in the valley of the mountain.
Next to you I'll lay my bones when I've reached my prime,
beside the brandywine where I finally find my rest."
-After Many Miles by The Ghost of Paul Revere-
No, no! Raz nor Dyzz died. This song just grabbed me and gave inspiration to this. Which if you listen to the song doesn’t make much sense... Because he’s singing to a lover... and... These two are brother and sister. Absolutely not lovers.
On a personal note, I’m really not please with this at all but... I posted it anyways. Also just realized I forgot Dyzz’s scars... poopy pants.
i know everyone has this skin already but god damnit I didn’t. Ever since my pal linked me the new druid skins BEFORE Legion launch, I have wanted this skin. It’s all my favorite colors. Neon green, orange and yellow.
Not sure it’s IC for Dyzz to be this color. Maybe if she were still in Gorgrond but meh. I don’t care. She’s fabulous.
For those who don’t know, the Wolf Pack is Raz, Nar’thok, Rubi and Dyzz. They’ve been traveling this expansion together throughout the broken isles killing demons where they find them. Mostly led by Raz. He’s not here working for the Horde, since he doesn’t trust The Dark Lady. No he’s here because the wild god he worships, Goldrinn, told him to come and defend Azeroth. Everyone else just followed.
On the broken shore they meet a like minded Sunwalker named Bear. She and the Wolf Pack will be IC going to Argus! WOO!
@flynneware ‘s Rubi makes an appearance.
Thunderous roars and metal clashing filled the barren broken land. Blood soaked the dirt making it slick like mud and bones threatened to trip up anyone not steady on their feet. They were a long way from camp but Wrynn’s Fall was the place to be at the Broken Shore. It was ground zero and both Alliance and Horde armies worked together to stop the tide of demons pouring from the Tomb of Sargeras while a group of champions ventured inside to stop Kil’Jaeden and his powerful commanders.
Bodies littered the ground of all kinds, the stench of sulfur, decay, and blood permeated the air. The sounds of combat, bellows of agony, war cries, squelching flesh, and magic spells being cast resounded and echoed in this canyon. War cries rang out from time to time. “FOR WYRNN!” Some called. “FOR VOL’JIN!” Others rang out but amoungst this carnage a white wolf weaved between the demons with a troll rider, his arrows knocking back demons while his two other wolves, another white and the second black, tore into the demonic forces.
Suddenly a felbat screeched and flew down, snatching the troll off the wolf’s back and started to fly off. “GAH! SHIT-SHIT-SHIT!” Raziax yelled as he tried to hit the beast with his bow. Suddenly a golden hammer bathed in holy light flung through the air, smacking the felbat with a mighty blow. It dropped Raz and the Darkspear hit the ground with a nasty thud. But as he yelled from the pain, grass and flowers sprouted around his form and a healing green mist of nature magic bathed his wounds and mending his flesh. “Tanks bae.” He said to the magenta haired troll not far from him.
“Can you not get grabbed by a felbat?!” He barked as a tall stocky brown skinned orc threw his axe into the felbat, bringing it to the ground. “Stop rolling around on the ground, Raz. I’m killing more demons then you.” He said with a grin. Raz pulled his bow and let two arrows fly, both wizzing past the orc’s head and killing two eredar. “Nah Nar’thok, I be beatin’ yas still!” A horrible screech sounded as the group turned to see a grey tiger mauling the felbat’s face.
The demon screeched and clawed viciously at the cat before tossing her at a heavily armored lady tauren. Dyzz flew and landed on the tauren but the tall stocky female managed to catch the airborne druid. The banter stopped and the boys watched the tauren. She was called ‘Bear’ or ‘Mama Bear’ as many in the Silver Hand order affectionately called her. Raz wasn’t so sure about the ‘mama’ part but there was no mystery as to how she picked up the main nickname.
She held her two handed sword in one hand, leaving her other arm free. A bellowing bear like roar sounded from her muzzle, ears flattened and bared teeth as she smacked her huge golden sword against her free arm with a ‘come at me’ motion. “C’mon! Show me what you’ve got!” She snarled. The demon screeched and charged towards her. She dragged her sword along the fel scorched earth, a holy light burning the demonic magic away with sparks of light as she charged.
She flung out her free arm and a holy hammer materialize and flung from her fingetips, slamming into the felbat with a mighty thud. With a raise of her heavy sword a blade of holy magical sword erupted from the ground and sliced the demon, causing it to wail in agony. Bear spun around and cut deep into the demons face as it raked her armor with it’s claws. Holy light and nature magic bathed her as both she and Rubi healed her. With a mighty arch of her sword she hit the demon so hard she stunned it for a moment then she side stepped and swung her sword down with such strength it severed the demons head.
Light emanated from her sword, sizzling the fel blood off her weapon as she scoffed. “One hundred and fourty-two. That’s five more than both of you.” Both troll and orc stared for a moment then frowned. “I prefer orcish grog. A whole keg, please.” She smirked with a warm motherly smile. “Cha’ das no fair! Ju got dat whirly holy magic!”
“Excuses? Goodness.” She said as she flung another holy hammer. “One hundred and fourty-five. I think I’d like a hearty plate of food to wash down that ale.” She said as her hammer hit one imp and split off to kill two more. Raz scoffed and stammered as Nar’thok just laughed. Suddenly panicked yelling cascaded through the battle field. The ground shifted and a gust of wind blew as a massive portal opened in the sky.
All stood in awe as a planet bathed in fel materialized in the sky. Dyzz shifted into her troll form and wrapped an arm around the brown skinned orc, Nar’thok, seeking comfort in this confusing moment. “What in loas name…” She whispered. “By the gods… Raz?” He said looking to Raz. “Don’ be lookin’ at me!”
“Well shit…” Rubi said as he stood next to his mate, Raz. A shadow came between the group and all looked back at the tall tauren. Her sword slung over her shoulder, her brows furrowed in determination. “Well… I guess that’s a thing now.” She said shaking her head. “Wha’cha tink it means, Bear?” He said looking to her. Bear was a wise old veteran of war and the Wolf Pack had come to respect her in the little time they’d known her. “Well. My guess… The champions failed to stop the demon lord.” She said with a heavy sigh.
“We’ll know more when we get back to Deliverance Point.” Her violet eyes looked out at the field at the lessening portion of demons still standing. “You still have time to beat me in demon kills.” She said punching Raz in the back playfully. “Ja nah’ be winnin’ dis bet, ladeh.” He and Nar’thok looked at one another and turned to kill more demons. But their eyes lingering on the planet in the sky...
From this question thingy! @deeafrotailmisstress asked for several characters here so I’m breaking this up and will be updating it when I write them!
The rain had finally stopped on Echo Isle, leaving a cool breeze on the otherwise hot day. Many were out repairing huts, foraging for food or in the case of four tusklings causing mischief. “Raz…” a smooth woman's voice stopped the small boy in his tracks. He was thirteen now, just a few years shy of taking his right of passage, but still very much a boy. Skinny, small and with a high wild Mohawk. He skidded to a halt and froze to his stepmothers voice.
“Take ja sis wit’ja.” The woman smiled. She was small as well but a powerful primalist. Well defined muscles flexed ever so slightly as her wild mane like white hair hid a child of about four. She put the girl down, an impossibly tiny thing with big bright yellow eyes, round puffy cheeks and white hair that was more or less tied back. Most older siblings would have groaned and put up a fight but Raz cherished his baby sister.
She seemed reluctant on leaving her mothers side. Raz held out his hand to her anyways, “Ju wanna hang wit’ me? C’mon Dyzz. Ja brothah git’cha a coconut!” This was all he had to say as Dyzz gasp and ran to her brother. Gripping his hand and bouncing, “weeleh!? Trees so high Waz! Ju weeleh git me one?!” Her tiny voice gasped. “Fah ju, I git’cha anytin’. Even a shark.” He said leading her away. “A sark! Weeleh!?” Raz laughed and nodded as he left the hut, his stepmother beaming at them.
They were walking to the beach with Raz excitedly telling his sister how he'd get her the cocoanut when she pointed at something in the sand. Sadly Raz didn't see it and stepped on the slippery fruit and fell on his rear. “Raz! Ju fell!” She gasped as two boys hopped down from a tree laughing hysterically. “BANANA!!” The twin boys yelled in unison. They were identical twins with same facial features and fur color. They even sported the same messy shoulder length hair but one had deep blue hair and the other teal.
Raz growled but started laughing when he grabbed the fruit and chucked it at the boys. Aiming for the dark hair boy but he ducked and the squishy fruit hit his teal haired brother. Whom stopped laughing immediately. But this caused little Dyzz to burst into a fit of giggles. The teal haired brother glared at her and grabbed the fruit and aimed. But a surprisingly deep growl froze him. “Don’cha throw that at me sis, Jacjak.” Raz warned. His normally jovial nature deadly serious.
Jacjak pouted and brew the fruit at his brother. “Stop laughin’, Zenzak!” He barked. When the fruit hit him however it became an all out brawl between the two with Raz laughing at them. Dyzz was giggling and looked over to see the curious little orange haired girl. She was tiny like her and just a few years older. It looked like she was trying to avoid the twins gaze since they usually picked on her. The banana hit Raz and he was now in the playful brawl, losing track of his sister.
Dyzz tiptoed over to the girl, her wild orange mane hiding her face. Curled in a ball talking to her old rag doll. She was weird and a bit feral, most of the kids avoided her but Dyzz was curious. Walking to her she found a pretty blue shell. It was broken and the color faded but she carried it preciously anyways. The orange haired girl froze and became silent when Dyzz came near.
“Ju Jazhali wite?” The girl only growled lightly and didn't answer. “Ju hair is pretteh.” But then Raz’s voice boomed. “Dyzz!” Followed by the brothers. “Don’t talk to her.” One brother cruelly laughed. “Yea she be weird.” Jaz curled away when Dyzz looked at them. She frowned and looked at the shell. She lingered a long moment before putting the shell in Jaz’s hand. “Dis fa ju.” She said with a smile before darting away to the rowdy boys.
Hydrocodone makes for a very stoned Raz. Yay kidney stones... -_-
To cheer myself up I was going through my old art and found Nar’thok and Dyzz <3. My frostwolf orc and my druid. I think I gotta thing for orc/troll ships...
I want to work on something that takes more time. I.E. practice more art. While I have something sketched for mermay, I think to let the art flow properly I need to work on what is tugging at my desire. Brugran, Raz and Dyzz. Anyway which do you think I should work on?
@rheisa-midnightfury tagged me to make a compilation vine video and tag my characters. I don’t have a program to make stuff like that but they were amazing enough to put the videos together I picked. This was so much fun and much needed distraction right now. Many hours crying laughing at silly videos. Thank you so much for putting these videos into an actual thing.
