I am so sorry for your loss. Even if you're not completely surprised, something like this still can hit you with a sudden-ness that's hard to comprehend until it happens. It may take time to process things, and grief may come in ways you don't expect.

I’m pretty much reacting the same way I did to my cousin dying a few years ago.  I expect I’ll be a mess at the funeral.  Thank you for your condolences.

The voluntary suffering that comes from unpleasant, uncomfortable, or just bad movies can at least be a conversation point. If you like using the phrase "I just had to know for myself if it gets better" then go for it. That's what I do.

but i wanna know what they decided to leave on the cutting room floor. i’m gonna watch it. it’s loading up now. god help me

My favorite thing at this moment is cat toe beans and chocolate-covered apricots.

i’ve never been a huge fan of apricots but i enjoy chocolate and obviously cat toe beans are the most precious thing on this gross earth

it’s interesting to hear what different people call those things. you have toe beans, i’ve also heard peets and pee-paws and lots of other things
