Equestrian Team won the State Championship title!!!

Super proud of my sister for coming back from her knee injury, and having to use a different horse for a couple weeks due to her pony having feet issues, and then both of them for coming back and kicking ass at State and ending her senior season with a State championship title. The team was great this year and actually felt like a real team, even with some coach drama.

Also was the first ever State title for our school's equestrian team, and rumor has it may be the first championship title for any sport for the school lol

Quick Thoughts

Last night I watched E-Team and it really opened my eyes to the tragedies happening in the Middle East most specifically,Syria. Sure I have heard things on the news, but watching it was a completely different story. I began thinking how could a leader could kill his own people? I realized how lucky I am to live somewhere where our leader is not out to kill us. All throughout the documentary, hearing people’s stories broke my heart. The fact that they could even explain what had happened to their family, is so brave. Often people will shy away from people due to their religion or how they live, and that isn’t right. Regardless of where people are from or how different they are from you, they are all human. At the end of the day, nothing matters besides the fact that they are just people. People who need help, to escape the tragedies they are faced with. On a positive note, there is one common theme here. When they were driving through the streets, there was a car of Syrian men and they all held up the peace sign. Even though they are being attacked day and night, they still have faith in peace. We are all the same we just come from different parts of the world and we need to help each other before it’s too late.
