Title: 13th
Author: @grlnxtdr30
Summary: Soul mates only have 13 chances to find each other and fall in love and live happily ever after. Two souls have met and fallen in love twelve times, but each time tragedy has torn them apart. This time, can they get it right?
This is one of the loveliest stories I've read in a long time. I love the "in every lifetime" trope that's almost canon due to Love Love Love, and this is a great take on that trope. Yes, it's heartbreaking at most times (do not read if you have a problem with major character death), but the way all of the lifetimes are intervowen with canon/present time is just lovely.
The reality is, we are complex creatures.

What's the deal there? Hunter ever tell you stories about his she-devil ex-wife? All the time…Damn.
I've been monitoring Moroccan law enforcement channels. They still haven't found Donnie Gill's body yet.
The last person who betrayed me…I broke his larynx.
He's not the same, and...since Simmons left, he's only getting worse.
Did he ever tell you about the time his grandpa took him to Grandfather Mountain when he was a child in North Carolina?
