He meets her just before midnight, ten minutes to give them time to find somewhere a little quieter, away from prying eyes. It might be among his resolutions to finally come clean to his brother, but one minute into the year isn't the time nor place for it. He wishes he had something to keep his hands busy, nerves forcing them in and out of his pockets. It's their first time crossing the new year together and he wants it to be perfect. "Have you had a good year?" He ends up asking in the comfortable silence, smile small but fond. "Any wishes for the next one?"
