So, while seeing the movie made me feel a bit better mentally, I am still bitter about the fandom (although, people in my cinema were all respectful and silent), so I'm introducing more rules on this blog for the sake of our comfort as writers.
1. Anon asks have been removed.
Due to how some people ask because they're "anonymous" on the website, I have decided to simply remove your ability to use anon to send stupid shit and pick fights. If you want to send an ask, you're gonna send it without anon.
However, I am not a complete asshole and I realize that some things are not what one would want to share. For now, if you want to leave anonymous submission, you have to DM @nosferatu-inside-of-me, so I can turn them on just for your ask. I will then send you the ask to confirm it was yours and turn the anon off again. There's also a chance for us to turn anon asks on on specific days of the week or seek out other options, but we will have to discuss those. There might be a poll about it soon.
2. Some asks will be deleted.
For the longest time, we've been trying to accommodate every ask, even if it made us uncomfortable or just wasn't fun/interesting to write, which in turn ended up with worse content.
Before, we only refused to write things if they made us really uncomfortable.
From now on, we will only take the requests that we want to write. Everything else will be deleted. This is meant to increase the fun we have, instead of viewing this blog as a chore.
3. Pointlessly gendered asks will be ignored.
Many of you send gendered asks. In most of them, reader's gender/genitals change nothing. The character will hug you all the same, no matter what's in your pants. Before you send an ask, consider if the gender really matters. Because if it doesn't, your ask won't be answered.
4. Event entries will be limited.
Events, even if they don't happen as often as they used to, can be overwhelming and disruptive towards the rest of your writing. We do still enjoy them, just like you do. But, in order to make it easier, we will keep them numbered instead of time-based.
5. No more taglists.
The taglist has been a pain in the ass for me for a while now. It's annoying and multiple people have reported it doesn't work. There's no point in annoying myself with something that doesn't even serve it's proper function.
