The Truth and Liberty Coalition, a Christian nationalist organization founded by right-wing evangelists Andrew Wommack and Lance Wallnau, is hosting its annual conference at Wommack’s Charis Bible College in Colorado this week. Wommack and Wallnau are promoters of Seven Mountains Dominionism, an ideology pushed by leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation movement
Among the speakers during the first session on Thursday night was far-right pastor and perennial failed political candidate E.W. Jackson, who fired up those in the crowd by assuring them that God will not allow Vice President Kamala Harris to become president.
“I’m also here to declare in the name of Jesus that we are not going to allow a bunch of Marxists and socialists and communists and a bunch of sexual perverts and a bunch of political power-grabbers [to] take our country and lead it in a direction that is not pleasing to Almighty God!” Jackson declared. “America is going to remain one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
In this clip, far-right pastor E.W. Jackson tells a gathering of Christian nationalists that God will not allow Kamala Harris to become president.
Unity Comes With a Cost
Unity Comes With a Cost
President Joe Biden called for political unity. In less than 24 hours, Right-Wing news media demonstrated why that isn’t possible. To have unity, it will cost. It will cost the Religious and Political Right their alternate reality. Both the Evangelicals and the Republicans will need to replace their alternate reality of Qanon conspiracies, “Alternate facts,” and Christian Nationalism with the…

As we reported yesterday, right-wing pastor E.W. Jackson used his most recent Sunday sermon to decry the rainbow flag as “an accursed thing” and rant that U.S. embassies that are flying them in honor of Pride Month are shaking their fists in the face of God. Jackson followed that up by dedicating nearly his entire “The Awakening” radio program on Monday to the same issue, declaring that “the rainbow flag is no different than the Confederate flag” and proclaiming that “we need to burn every rainbow flag in this nation.”
“I have a major problem with this,” said Jackson, who was the Republican Party nominee for lieutenant governor of Virginia in 2013 and unsuccessfully ran for a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2018. “I don’t want the gay flag being flown at our embassies any more than I want the Confederate flag being flown at our embassies. And there is a very simple reason: It does not represent the United States of America … As far as I am concerned, the rainbow flag is no different than the Confederate flag. That’s right, I said it and I mean it. The rainbow flag is no different than the Confederate flag in that sense. It is a flag that represents the interests of a special group and their own interests, not the interests of our country.”
“To me, it’s idiotic, it’s stupid,” he continued. “The only reason why it’s done is because these homosexual activists and radicals have so intimidated people throughout the culture, throughout the government, throughout the society that everybody thinks you’ve got to kowtow to them.”
“Flying some other flag to compete with the American flag is an insult because I have no relationship to that flag,” Jackson said. “Just as I have no relationship to the Confederate flag, I have no relationship to the rainbow flag … Don’t put it on public property because public property belongs to all of us and all of us aren’t down with that! In fact, most of us aren’t.”
“The idea that a man should be sexually attracted to another man is a lie, or that a woman should be attracted sexually to another woman is a lie,” Jackson concluded with disgust. “We need to burn every rainbow flag in this nation. Not we, but the LGBTQ community needs to burn it and renounce that mess and say, ‘Lord, forgive us for our sin and rebellion against you and bring us to the cross.'”

Last month Jackson falsely claimed that Buttigieg is trying to turn America into a “homocracy.”
David Badash at NCRM:
Virginia Republican E.W. Jackson says 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is "going to die and go to hell" because he's gay and refuses to "repent" for his "wickedness." He also compared the South Bend, Indiana mayor to a "temple prostitute," and – rebuking Buttigieg – says the devil, not God, creates gay people.
Jackson is a far right wing pastor who ran for the U.S. Senate in 2012 and 2018 and was the Republican Party's nominee to become Lieutenant Governor in 2013.
He "dedicated the bulk of his radio program yesterday to attacking Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg for being gay and calling himself a Christian," Right Wing Watch's Kyle Mantyla reports.
Bishop Jackson, who has a long and ugly history of attacking LGBT people, went after Buttigieg for saying that he is both gay and a Christian, and for declaring that his marriage has brought him closer to God and made him a better person.
“What Pete Buttigieg said was not only a lie out of the pit of hell, it was a direct blasphemy against God,” Jackson proclaimed.
E.W. Jackson needs to get over it. YOU should be the one repenting, NOT Pete Buttigieg.
Kyle Mantyla at RWW:
Ever since Rep. Ilhan Omar became one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress, right-wing pastor and radio host E.W. Jackson has attacked her continually, declaring that allowing Muslims to serve in office is “just beyond the pale” and insisting that Omar “wasn’t really elected by Americans.”
On his “The Awakening” radio program yesterday, Jackson took things a step further when he declared that Omar, who arrived as a refugee from Somalia in 1992 and became a U.S. citizen in 2000, should be stripped of her citizenship and deported.
[...]
Yeah, I said it and I mean it,” Jackson declared. “There ought to be a way to kick her out of here.”
