sometimes when im bored ill worldbuild cuisine for my stories. I found the list i made for terrever and now im hungry :<

Breakfast foods:

grilled pear slices with granola and yogurt garnished with cheese

ham slices with pineapple chunks and a caramelized sauce, served with toast and pineapple jam [wow expensive much]

a sort of thick pancake with fruit syrups and oats

oatmeal served runny, usually seasoned with a plant that tastes kind of like tea

coffee or tea with extra honey, usually not served with cream

supper

Sandwiches with slices of salami olives and cucumbers

Salads. Lots of salads, with a thin vinaigrette dressing.Usually just fruits and vegetables with sometimes diced boiled egg

Thin cold soup with rice

battered fish, served hot or cold, with a ranch-like dipping sauce

usually all lunch meals served with fruit, cheese, and bread on the side

lunchtime drinks include tea or coffee, iced water with cucumber or lemon, lemonade, or a sort of fruity ale if you live in the south/west areas. 

Dinner

grilled chicken with orange glaze served over pasta or rice

wedge salad with a tray of possible toppings

shepards pie and biscuits

a variety of pastas, usually with butter, served hot,  or white sauce, served cold

a sort of spiced ground beef and lentil stew the consistency of thick chili served over tortillas [a popular wes terrevean meal]

most served with a side salad with goat cheese and orange slices

beverages include cocktails, darker beers, sweet tea, hot tea, after dinner wine and coffee, or iced water with lemon or orange slices

desserts

cramelized pears and apples

spiced dough and honey, served like either monkey bread or cinnamon rolls

heavy pound cake with cocoa powder and powder sugar dusting

lemon and orange tarts

thick oaty cookies

spiced coffee with whipped cream or sugary fruit drinks

drinks

other than mentioned above, drinks tend to be heavily based on imported cinnamon or locally grown citrus, particularly oranges and grapefruits. Drinks such as a cocktail that tastes like orange and mint. 

Basically everything's got a fruity flavour to it, or its bland as hell.

You fell off of the building on the first try. He laughed at you. He leans over the rooftop and drops a coin on your head. 

"Try again, princess." You stumble to your feet and look at it. Then, you think hard, and feel inside yourself for the will to rise into the air. When you open your eyes, finally, you're zipping up, and falling carefully onto the roof beside him. "See, isn't that easy?"

"Bite me."

"Maybe later. Now, though, do you see why I waited to give you this?" He's holding a bundle of fabric in his hands and he thrusts it toward you, You unfold it and realize its a cloak like his. You couldn't tell where the mists ended and the tassels began. You take it in your shaking hands and look at him over the edge of your spectacles. 

"Thank you."
