The Calm After the Storm - Prologue & Page 1-2
Something I’ve been slowly working on, and learning the comic tools on Clip Studio Paint, over the summer amid chaos with my work schedule. Hopefully things have leveled out and I’ll have the momentum, and safety, to work on this more efficiently into the fall. Balangami, god of showtime
Drop the star of my #2 favorite game of all time into the rest of the stars from my #1 favorite game of all time and this happens. I made Balan an honorary brush god. With the Spotlight Brush Technique, a shaft of Amaterasu’s Sunrise is focused into one area, often giving any weak monster within it stage fright and open for attack.
Repost by OP because it lost its original place in the #Balan Wonderworld recent search tag less than two days later. An ongoing issue I’ve been having about my immediate reblogs not showing up in my dashboard, ergo not showing up on my followers, now affects a recent search by taking it back after it had showed up before, is why I’ve been migrating away from Tumblr, @staff.

Surely they'll stand petrified right on the spot. Break a leg, and give them the best performance you got!" - Balangami awakens
[Spotlight Brush Technique] Draw a circle on the ground, away from anything affected by Bloom, to focus a shaft of sunlight in that spot. Weaker enemies that are under it will stiffen with fear and become vulnerable to attacks. However, they may grow bolder the more the Spotlight shines on them. You can also shine Spotlight on yourself to temporarily ward off Demon Scrolls as long as you're in the light.
Balangami's attire is inspired by Kabuki stage actors, prominently Renjishi, a historical play featuring The Lion Dance, which actors whip around their long wigs. Balangami would be more than happy to perform, but first he would need to hand off his hat and parasol to his stagehands. Two tims wearing dark hoods over their faces take after Kabuki show stagehands, and as such while on duty, should be treated as if they're invisible. They are permitted cuddle time offstage.

In case it wasn't evident by now, I've stopped posting my art on Tumblr due to their broken tag search erasing my (SFW!!) posts from the recent list and @staff giving me no answer as to why it's be there but then 5 hours or two days later it's gone.
