after all this time
I love you and I will tell you everyday, everyday until you forget those things that hurt. I hate the things that make you hurt and how I wish I could take them away. If only it could be done, I’ll do it for sure.
Kay thinks that the moon has been shining the brightest for tonight, and the ballroom is filled with so many different scents and bodies that Kay starts having a mental panic, he doesn’t want to be enclosed. He can’t seem to keep himself down, maybe if this would happen a few years ago, he’d run to her and she’d soothe every aching memory he has.
But he figures that she’s long gone, and he’s happy that he had let her go for her sake alone. So, there he is, halfway through flirting so professionally with a masked woman he figures he wouldn’t even recognize tomorrow, or the day after that.
Kay opens his mouth to idly reply, but he sees a figure behind her, almost like a passing hue. But the hue suddenly triggers his heart thumping so hard, almost two hundred beats per millisecond.
“Coppelia...” he whispers, letting his words sink and fade away. He excuses himself from the stranger before chasing after the hue-- hoping, silently hoping.
He feels something rolling against his cheeks, tears?
