The old Eads Bridge, in the snow.
It was snowing so hard earlier today, most people at work got sent home. Me included. If only they could’ve just called a snow day yesterday and spared us the trek...oh well. ❄️
I got off the train (which goes on the underside of Eads), and took a picture. At the time I could barely see the Arch, much less the city. That doesn’t happen often.
Glad to be home, having enjoyed a hot bath. Maybe I’ll get some laundry done or maybe - just maybe - some writing, too.

Then: in 1903, from a reproduction post card photographs.
Now: in 2019, with the reconstructed levee. Behind the Eads bridge can be seen the Martin Luther King Bridge.
