SILENCE. that's what bayek was surrounded by, as he stared up at the night sky, eyes darting from the sky to the area around him. the medjay was cautious, even if he was in a safe area, he never knew if someone or something would sneak up from behind.. and that's exactly what he had sensed. the sound of crunching sand made the man stand up rather quickly on his feet, bow drawn and aimed at the person. it was dark, so it was hard to determine if it was a male or female. but he stared them down.

The Egyptian Brotherhood of the Assassins had heard about the way Al Mualim had ended. He had used a piece of Eden and had used it to control everyone around him. Luckily, he had been stopped, but because of those recent events, it seemed like the Leviantine Brotherhood needed help from their other brothers and sisters. Aya didn’t have receive much information about what had happened, but because she was considered as a CAPABLE Assassin on her own, she had been chosen to meet with them. She wasn’t sure it would mean something, but she couldn’t refuse. After all, they fought in the shadows to slay any tyran, and if something SUSPICIOUS was still going in Masyaf, she had to do something about it. 

“Don’t make that face. I’ve been sent by the Egyptian Brotherhood. My name’s Aya.” She explained, smirking as she crossed her arms over her chest. Her Brotherhood wanted more information about that piece of Eden; they wanted to make sure she didn’t fall in the wrong hands again, but for now, she would keep a polite conversation.

His position within the Order was growing tenuous; ostensibly due to his failing mental state caused by constant exposure to the Animus. But perhaps the Order knew that he was no longer their faithful. But he knew that Altaïr would not contact him like this – almost exposing himself – if it wasn’t important. 

They found each other, hidden amongst many. Hiding in plain sight, as always.

Moss-green eyes turn to look up, then down at the note placed so carefully in his hand. He didn’t need to know what the note said. He knew. In his heart, he knew, “ wayn akhi ?”

               ———- ▲ the hooded figure in the distance seems suspicious. connor’s eyes narrow in an attempt to figure out just who this person might be. his intuition says they’re NOT HUMAN, that is one thing for certain. such questionable behaviour urges the android to approach the other & something strikes him as ODD when his facial recognition software doesn’t work. he approaches, attempting to look as non-threatening as possible. he just wants to talk. ❛ excuse me sir, may i speak with you for a moment? ❜
