Haida eagle talon earrings custom made for @phoebedykstra 🦅 I will admit feeling some intimidation when working with these medicines. Naturally the eagle is a beautiful yet intimidating creature. But the honour I felt from working with this medicine was so strong. I spent a lot of time thinking about it before actually working on it. I had to pray & meditate on it hard before going forth with my ideas. I was so nervous they wouldn’t turn out how I envisioned or that the acid would destroy them. After careful thought & consideration I began to trust & my worries disappeared. They turned out beautifully! Even in the bath the shine these talons gave off was like nothing I have ever created before. They were a little different than I envisioned but they were better & beautiful! Which is better, do you think, D. Grey-Man, Karneval, or Pandora Hearts? I prefer DGM over PH & Karneval myself, IDK exactly WHY though. Maybe b/c DGM is a lot more angsty ("darker and edgiest") than the other two? Strange b/c they all have similar themes (split personality/action girls/little miss badasses, etc.) but I prefer one more than the others... Maybe I just prefer DGMs plot more?

Karneval

Pandora Hearts has a complete story by now and every chapter was well done, leading to an intricate plot which left us on our seats every month. Kudos for including both male and female characters with split personality since the latter is rarely seen in media. Also, the clothes in PH is the best out of these 3 ok. 

D.Gray-man was one of my first anime/manga so it as a special place in my heart. But then the hiatus make me so sad. I just hope it can continue someday. I’m kinda mad that the whole past!Allen thing was revealed then it went on hiatus. But thankfully there was some Nea/Allen ;A; 

Karneval has a good plot, but my main gripe with it is the slow pace of the plot. It took 60+ monthly chapters to explain about the origins of Incuna and Varuga?! But then Mikanagi-sensei seemed to want to focus on the relationships of the characters more, and I do appreciate how everyone gets a small break before more battles happens.

And yes, these series do share similar themes and that’s why I love them so much. So similar that these should all deserve more anime seasons.
