ashlynn is an incredibly loving spouse who is big on verbal and physical affection

she’s comfortable with casual pda and will happily go around holding hands, greeting you with a hug and a kiss, or just leaning into you when you’re sitting side by side

her love language is quality time, which translates to frequent dates spent in the outdoors with her woodland friends

she loves resting her head on your lap and having you play with her hair, and she’s happy to return the favour

when you’re sitting together she’ll link your arms and cuddle against your side

she’s also been known to nuzzle her face into your neck when you hug

talks about you all of the time to her parents and friends, so your relationship is never a secret

gives you a lot of cutesy nicknames like ‘honey’, ‘cutie-pie’, ‘pumpkin’ and ‘cupcake’

goes clothes shopping with you and insists on you having matching outfits (especially shoes!)

she’s the type of girlfriend who doodles your name in a heart in her notebook during class

… as well as both of your names together and her first name with your last

she’s soft like that

always sends you a good morning and good night text — usually accompanied by an ‘i love you’

she’s the girlfriend that steals your hoodies and jumpers and shirts and you’ll only realise when you see her in her ‘new pyjamas’

she’s very easily upset and will usually go to you in tears after coming out of an argument

she remembers everything you tell her you love and will mention these things offhandedly

like if you pass by a bakery selling your favourite treat then she’ll point it out and ask if you want it

or if you mention liking something like jewellery she’ll get it for your birthday

and so on

she’s just an excellent listener and it shows

whilst she can be very moody and almost edgy with others, when she’s with you and a select few other people romona can be the softest, sweetest and most loyal person you’ll ever know

she’ll bask in your affection and love for as long as you’ll allow her, and she’ll return it all tenfold and more if you need her to

cuddling usually involves you absentmindedly petting her hair and scratching behind her ears whilst she curls up in your lap and drifts in and out of sleep

whenever you kiss her she can’t help but smile and giggle, never quite getting used to how openly affectionate you are with her

the quickest way to get her to go completely red in the face is to surprise her with a chaste kiss to the lips — which also tends to leave her speechless

if you’re the type to tackle-hug then she’s more than strong enough to make sure that you don’t drop, but there are times when she’s completely unprepared and you both end up flying to the floor in a heap of laughter and yelps

she seeks you out after every class and will drag you off somewhere private to just cuddle and chat — to be herself without risking her reputation

thinks that you’re absolutely adorable and her nicknames for you are based around this concept

stuff like ‘bunny’, ‘sweetheart’, ‘cutie’ and so on

if anyone ever stumbles across the two of you when you’re being all domestic and sweet then she’ll snap at them, threatening to go ‘big bad wolf’ on them if they ever breathe a word of what they’ve seen to anyone else

she’ll get mortified after they leave, going bright red and hiding in your neck as she mumbles absolute nonsense in her embarrassed state

it’s all quite cute, but it’s not cute how jumpy she’ll be in the weeks after you’re caught — always worried that her reputations about to go down the drain and that the school has found out

it’s bad enough when her baby sister takes the mick, but she wouldn’t be able to take the entire school doing it
