i am back in the Ever After High rabbit hole (they only have those in Wonderland but i suppose one spat me out straight into the Well of Wonder. figures.) and i am on the whole 'fake storybook' point in Thronecoming, namely when Briar finds the real book in her dorm room. no, i am not on about the 'how many people have signed the fake one since' but rather: how many people have signed the fake immediately after it was hidden?

it might explain a lot of how the previous generation didn't exactly follow their own stories either such as Red and Bad Wolf marrying each other. a similar principle could be extended to Ashlynn and Hunter, especially with Ashlynn confirmed to have signed the fake book.

was Raven's father even destined to be the Good King or is that a by-product? but this one causes similar problems as counting everything in the canon generation's that weren't hexactly it, like Apple being blonde (apparently one of the original manuscripts of Grimm's Snow White had her as a blonde, but still), and Darling not being a damsel in distress. Raven not wanting to be evil would mean that the Evil Queen didn't sign her page, but she clearly did if their line needed to sign the Storybook to unlock their full powers, and she didn't have a reason not to sign her page given that she stole it for herself.

i'm now realizing that the 'havoc' they said she wanted for all the stories was to not have everyone sign the Storybook of Legends. exactly as Raven wanted for herself, it sounds pretty Rebel if i may say so. the clear difference between them though is Raven never intended any harm. Her mom though notoriously cursed Wonderland.

i guess i'm also a little puzzled as to why she stole the book in the first place, and why, under gods, did she hide the book in her own dorm room? Did she hope that when her kid is placed in the same room she eventually finds the real book and signs while leaving the rest with the fake book? (the cards with the toys say that every kid is placed where their parents were placed.) but why would she go beyond her story? why hide it in the school even? i would expect it to be in a dungeon, or something

Headcanon that the incident that got Ramona sent to the Dark Forest Reform School involved Cerise throwing Ramona to the wolves and playing the victim to protect their secret. Maybe she lost control of her wolf side, accidentally wrecked her dorm room and blamed Ramona. Maybe someone came across the sisters playfighting in the woods and Cerise cried wolf attack to save face. This could explain why Ramona was removed from Ever After High while Faybelle wasn’t after allying with the Evil Queen. Firstly, Ramona seemed to pose an immediate threat to Cerise. Secondly, her alleged crime was not only malicious and dangerous, it indicated that she wasn't learning to follow her destiny. The Hood and Badwolf lines may be enemies, but no actual conflict is meant to occur outside their story, and in the story, the Big Bad Wolf is patient and controlled. He plays nice with Little Red Riding Hood. He waits for her to reach her grandmother's house and get close to him. Ramona recklessly jumping the gun showed disregard for her fairytale and was out-of-character for her role, unlike Faybelle's selfishness and spite. Milton had reason to fear that she'd go off-script again in the future.

Imagine Cerise's guilt. Imagine Ramona's heartbreak and betrayal. Imagine Cerise hating herself and the world every time she misses her sister. Imagine Ramona shutting Cerise out when Cerise visits her and tries to apologize. Imagine their dad understanding what happened, but barely being able to comfort his daughters due to Ramona's distance and his and Cerise's personas. The drama! The irony!

It's also the best setup I can think of for "A Big Bad Secret", where the girls both appear to genuinely resent each other, on top of pretending to hide their true relationship. Supporting quotes from the episode:

Raven, who knows the family secret, is against judging people by their legacies and therefore probably wouldn't express negativity about Ramona returning unless she thinks Ramona herself deserves it: Poor Cerise.

Blondie: Miss Hood, are the rumours true that it was your fault that Ramona Badwolf was sent away to the Dark Forest Reform School?

Cerise: What? I - no comment.

Cerise, about the excitement around the fight: This is ridiculous. I think we can settle our own problems.

Ramona: I did not. Dad, Cerise is taking this ‘under the hood’ thing too far. "Ooh, mysterious secret. Look at me, I'm a Hood!" (exposes Cerise's ears)

Cerise: (pushes her away) I'm not doing it for me. You are so mean!

Badwolf: Muzzle it! You both know how it is.

Ramona: Yeah, yeah. If anyone knew the Big Bad Wolf was married to Little Red...

Cerise: They'd flip their crowns.

Badwolf: That's right.

Cerise tries to avoid attention, while Ramona publicly challenges her to a fight and lashes out at her precious reputation. She softens when reminded of the importance of the lie.

I feel like the Ever After High Fandom collectively decided on five things:

Apple and Darling got together.

Cupid and Blondie got together.

90% of characters were part of the LGBTQ+ community.

Everyone wrote their own Happily Ever After.

And Snow White was the real villain.

My EAH thanksgiving headcanon is that it doesn't exist

Not that I judge people who celebrare because I know you're actually celebrating time with family and not the actual american conquest, just like I celebrate christmas having become atheist.

I honestly hadn't even thought about eah thanksgiving until I so a hc earlier this week.

Since no characters come from an undeniably USA tale if they had included Oz seried characters it would be different, just saying... I don't think it makes any sense.

I vote EAH has its own get-together-with-people-you-love-and-meditate-how-lucky-you-are-to-have-them holiday: agape eventilde (I... Am still.working in the name- this thing would be much easier if you guys had a direct traslation for velada)

Ok so I made this post about Crystal and I want to add more head canons into my own Crystal hc/rewrite

Her mother raised her to become the perfect Snow Queen, this means she doesn't show emotions, doesn't really know how

She's very cold

She was homeschooled because her mother was afraid Crystal would make friends and become attached to them and become soft

Crystal doesn't know what love is, her father is out of the picture and her mother isn't really there for her

The Snow Queen thinks that material gifts are enough for Crystal and that she doesn't need actual love an affection. This makes Crystal constantly want attention

Crystal's actual passion is ice hockey and her dream is to be the best player

She practices it in secret by herself

Once she permanently transfers to EAH and her "learning how to love arc" is complete her new friends create the first ice hockey team just for her

They're all terrible at it but Crystal helps them and teaches them how to play

Hello yes welcome to headcanons that nobody asked for

I believe these two are twins for honestly no reason other than I like the idea of this LMAO

They got the red and black hair from both of their moms, yes biologically I believe they’re their parents mainly because I’d like to believe Wonderlandians just naturally have the ability to have children regardless of sex/gender (just makes the most sense to me [I also believe that this has bled into the main Fairytale World, and a little into the monster/human world ;)) ])

The Red Queen and the Queen of Hearts were together before QoH had to follow through with her destiny, and were very much in love. Which of course resulted in them addentally secretly having twins, with Lizzie born first. Unfortunatley, they got into disagreements over their children’s destinies, as well as the very topic of destiny itself, which led them to split while Lizzie and Chase were both babies so they don’t remember any of this. QoH remaried to the “short and stubby man” that her father is described as (who she assumed was the king in her destiny, spoiler alert to me he was not), and Lizzie was raised to believe these two were her bio parents. Chase on the other hand, was raised alone by RQ as her “”adoptive”” son, to hide the relation with the QoH. RQ didn’t remarry, 1. because nothing in her destiny said she techincally had to, just that there would be a king on the chessboard nothing specifically said they had to be together, and 2. because RQ still loved the QoH and couldn’t force herself to move on. Leading her to be a little more on-edge and grumpy a lot of the time. QoH still cared/loved RQ, but on top of the Evil Queen’s curse and just paranoia in general, QoH kept herself from thinking too much about the RQ. 

From here on out it kinda goes into my own made-up scenario lmao

Through some kind of shenanigans, Lizzie and Chase find out they’re related, and not only that but fraternal twins. Lizzie is hesitant to bring this up with her mom, but Chase isn’t hesitant in the slightest and it results in some tension in the situation

Through more shenanigans that I have yet to figure out, RQ and QoH reconcile as they find they still loved one another, QoH divorcing her husband and remarrying RQ in the process.

I’m tired rn but I’m more than willing to clear up some questions if need be if this might be hard to understand /gen <3
